★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We have been taking all our dogs to Village Vet since 2008. We have always appreciated the compassionate and appropriate care. The only reason they did not receive a a fifth star is because we now live between two homes on a seasonal basis. We have found that the practice is neither as helpful nor flexible in meeting our needs. It’s painful to be treated this way after nearly twenty years as a customer.
August 22 · Cathy GrimesWe’ve just had one visit but we loved every interaction we’ve had with everyone so far. Scheduling was helpful and professional. The doctor called and was personable and explained everything she suggested with our soon to be 11 year old cat in a way I understood. We’ve recently lost a young diabetic dog and I feel let down by a couple of local vets. I am hopeful that we have found a vet that will take the time to treat our babies AND listen when concerns arise.
June 03 · Kim ZajacDr. King and her staff take such good care of our older dog! They're all knowledgeable, compassionate and friendly.
August 01 · VeraVillage Veterinary Practice - Western Springs - Is a great place to bring your pets! Having worked at many animal hospitals as a relief veterinary technician, this location is one of my favorites.Dr. King is kind, caring and has a great sense of humor. She truly takes the time to listen to what pet parents are experiencing at home with their beloved fur children and comes up with a plan that fits best for the pet, pet parent and staff. She always follows fear free protocols in the best interest of the animals and the staff. She is very nice to her support staff and always willing to help when needed.Dr. Green is friendly, thoughtful and personable. He is very thorough when it comes to his physical exams and takes the time to assess his patients come up with the best plan of action to keep them healthy. He too follows fear free protocols and is always there if the staff needs and extra set of hands. He is always there to listen to the staff and takes their ideas, thoughts, and recommendations seriously.Overall, I really enjoy Village Veterinary Practice - Western Springs!Their entire staff from client service representatives, veterinary assistants, certified veterinary technicians, veterinarians and beyond are extremely helpful, kind and welcoming to their clients and to each other. My time spent at this location was like a breath of fresh air and I look forward to working there again.I appreciate that they truly follow fear free protocols and for that reason I would bring my pets here and I recommend clients to as well!-Melissa Marusarz, LVT
April 12 · Melissa MarusarzI tried Village veterinary after my dog was limping around and my current vet at the time wasn’t helpful. When I went to a village veterinary, the doctor diagnosed my dog with a torn ACL and then set me on track to find a surgeon to repair it. after the surgery, the doctor from Village veterinary called me to ask about My dog’s progress. Since then, I have been very happy with all of the care I have received.
