Veterinarian ★4.0

7570 Pearl Rd, Middleburg Heights, OH 44130, USA

4.0
I got my kitten his second round of shots today, and while the prices are nice and they were helpful, they are way way way too aggressive. my kitten is not even 4 months old, and he is extremely gentle and calm. they opened his carrier and despite the fact that he was wearing a kitten harness and wasn't struggling AT ALL, they immediately resorted to grabbing him extremely roughly by the scruff. they pulled him out by the scruff and the lady who was holding him by the scruff was causing him pain. he got blood drawn and some shots, but he was crying from how roughly the vet assistant was squeezing his skin. her nails were dug into his scruff and she was holding him super roughly as if he was fighting or aggressive. HE WAS NOT. my kitten is extremely gentle and doesn't ever bite or scratch, and there was no indication that he was going to hurt ANYONE. he was staying perfectly still, and would have regardless of how rough the lady was handling him. after they were done, the lady released him and there was a massive clump of fur in her hand that ended up being put in the carrier with him. she had pulled out his fur!! his scruff area is now irritated and sore, despite being hours later. HE IS A KITTEN! a non-aggressive kitten. I watched to see if she would do the same thing to the next pet in line (a dog) and she didn't! she must hate cats because that was unbelievable. kittens are extremely delicate and should NEVER be treated like that, but especially when they are showing zero signs of being aggressive. - Spooker Sucks

VIP Petcare Vaccination Clinic Introduce

For pet owners across Ohio, and particularly for those in the Middleburg Heights area, finding accessible and affordable veterinary services for essential preventative care is a key priority. VIP Petcare Vaccination Clinic aims to fulfill this need by offering convenient and cost-effective vaccination services for dogs and cats. Recognizing that regular immunizations are vital to a pet's long-term health and to prevent the spread of diseases, VIP Petcare focuses on providing these crucial services without the higher costs often associated with full-service veterinary hospitals.

Our pets are cherished members of our families, and ensuring their well-being is a responsibility we take seriously. Preventative care, especially vaccinations, forms the cornerstone of a healthy life for our animal companions. By protecting them from common and dangerous diseases, we contribute significantly to their longevity and quality of life. VIP Petcare Vaccination Clinic understands the importance of making this preventative care accessible to as many pet owners as possible, allowing them to keep their pets safe and healthy without undue financial burden.

The convenience of a dedicated vaccination clinic cannot be overstated for busy pet owners in Ohio. It means quicker visits focused solely on immunizations, potentially less stress for pets who may find full veterinary clinics overwhelming, and the assurance of affordable pricing for essential services. For residents of Middleburg Heights and surrounding communities, VIP Petcare offers a straightforward solution for their pet's vaccination needs.

VIP Petcare Vaccination Clinic is located at 7570 Pearl Rd, Middleburg Heights, OH 44130, USA. This location on Pearl Road makes it a readily accessible spot for pet owners throughout Middleburg Heights and the broader Ohio region, especially those in the southwestern suburbs of Cleveland. Pearl Road is a significant thoroughfare, ensuring that finding the clinic is straightforward, whether you are coming from local neighborhoods or from further afield.

The clinic is typically set up as a convenient, walk-in style service within retail locations, often operating on specific days or hours. This model prioritizes quick and efficient service for vaccinations, making it easy for pet owners to fit essential preventative care into their busy schedules. While exact operating days and times at this specific address should always be confirmed, the overall structure of VIP Petcare clinics is designed for maximum accessibility and minimal waiting times for focused vaccination services. For Ohioans seeking a simple and convenient option for their pet's shots, this location offers that direct access.

VIP Petcare Vaccination Clinic specializes in providing essential preventative health services, primarily focusing on vaccinations and other basic wellness treatments. While they are not a full-service veterinary hospital equipped for complex diagnostics, surgeries, or emergency care, their streamlined model allows them to offer these crucial services efficiently and affordably. Their typical offerings include:

  • Core Vaccinations for Dogs: Such as Rabies, Distemper (often combined with Parvovirus, Adenovirus, Parainfluenza – DAP or DHPP), and Leptospirosis.
  • Non-Core Vaccinations for Dogs: Including Bordetella (kennel cough) and Canine Influenza, which are important for pets with higher exposure risks.
  • Core Vaccinations for Cats: Such as Rabies and Feline Distemper (often combined with Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus – FVRCP).
  • Non-Core Vaccinations for Cats: Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), especially for cats with outdoor access.
  • Microchipping: A vital service for pet identification and recovery in case your pet ever gets lost.
  • Flea and Tick Preventatives: Offering various options to protect pets from external parasites.
  • Heartworm Testing and Preventatives: Crucial for protecting dogs from this serious and potentially fatal disease.
  • Deworming: Treatments for common intestinal parasites.
  • Basic Wellness Tests: Including Feline Leukemia/FIV tests for cats, and potentially other simple health screenings as part of their package offerings.

It is important for pet owners to understand that VIP Petcare clinics are designed for preventative care and do not replace the need for a full-service veterinarian for comprehensive health concerns, illnesses, or emergencies.

VIP Petcare Vaccination Clinic highlights several features that make it a distinct option for pet owners in Ohio:

  • Affordable Pricing: This is a major draw, with one customer specifically noting, "Only $46 per dog" for rabies shots, and generally describing prices as "nice" and "cheapest." This focus on affordability makes essential vaccinations accessible to a wider range of pet owners.
  • Quick and Convenient Service: The clinic aims for efficiency, with one reviewer stating, "So quick and affordable. Can’t really complain." This suggests a streamlined process designed for minimal wait times.
  • Focus on Vaccinations: By specializing in preventative care, particularly vaccinations, they can offer these services efficiently without the overhead of a full-service hospital.
  • Accessibility: Operating in locations that are easy to reach for many local residents, like the Pearl Road address in Middleburg Heights.
  • Necessary Preventative Care: They provide crucial immunizations that are legally required (like rabies) or highly recommended to protect pet health.

However, it is crucial to address a significant concern raised in a customer review:

  • Concerns Regarding Handling: One reviewer described an "extremely aggressive" handling of their kitten, noting the animal was "pulled out by the scruff" and that the vet assistant was "squeezing his skin" causing pain and pulling out fur, despite the kitten being "extremely gentle and calm." This feedback indicates a potential inconsistency in pet handling techniques, especially concerning cats, which is a serious point for prospective clients to consider.

Prospective clients should weigh the benefits of affordability and convenience against the reported handling concerns, especially if they have sensitive or anxious pets.

For general inquiries about services, pricing, or clinic schedules, VIP Petcare Vaccination Clinic can be reached using the following information:

For pet owners in Ohio, particularly in Middleburg Heights and surrounding areas, VIP Petcare Vaccination Clinic presents itself as a highly affordable and convenient option for essential preventative care like vaccinations. If your primary need is for quick, low-cost immunizations, and your pet is generally calm or accustomed to clinic environments, this clinic could be a suitable choice. The significant cost savings on vital shots like rabies can be a major benefit for many families.

However, it is imperative for local users to consider the feedback regarding pet handling. For pets that are particularly sensitive, anxious, or very young, the reported aggressive handling techniques could be a significant concern. While the affordability is a clear advantage, pet owners should carefully evaluate if the trade-off aligns with their pet's temperament and their expectations for compassionate care. For straightforward vaccination needs, with an awareness of potential handling variations, VIP Petcare in Middleburg Heights offers an accessible and budget-friendly solution for West Ohio pet families.
