Western Carolina Regional Animal Hospital & Emergency Hospital Reviews
I've brought my dogs here a few times for emergencies and then decided to go with them for dental as well. Josh Hower was amazing with my little dog Tadpole. He's a Chihuahua and unfortunately doesn't get a long with others besides me and my partner. They took great care of our boy and called to check up a few days after his dental surgery. A very caring establishment and worth the drive and the expense.

Jun 11, 2025 · Kim BurchMy cat had and emergency on a Sunday, and I drove all the way from Weaverville to this place because the ones closer to me I hadn’t had great experiences with. WCREAH was amazing!!!! Front desk, to assistant, Dr, tech… great communication, no pressure, fair prices. I’ve already told multiple people to go there if they ever have an emergency. I will definitely return should they need ever arise again! Attached is a photo of my cat resting comfortably that evening and back to his normal self.Thank you!!!!
May 05, 2025 · B WhThis is our little guy Hank.Saturday we noticed him not being himself, he wasn’t eating or playing as much as he usually does. With us changing his food we thought maybe it was just the food change. Alittle later in the morning when he used the bathroom we noticed his stool was runny and bloody. We started calling hospitals right away due to us being scared it could be parvo. We lived in SC so that’s where we called. The price ranges we were told broke our heart and scared us to death. I reached out to WCRA&AH and they quoted us and without hesitation were mainly concerned for our baby. We brought him in and he tested positive. They wasted no time and started a game plan. From the front desk staff to the nurses to the providers no one skipped a beat and got him taken care of. They were so cost efficient and it came out to be half of what we expected. They call several times a day to give us an update and today I get to pick up Hank. Words aren’t enough for the appreciation we have for this proactive. 5 starts isn’t enough.
May 19, 2025 · Kimberly AlemanOur girl Annabelle is recovering from an accident. We took her to Western Carolina Regional Animal Hospital. She had to have emergency surgery. They had to remove part of her intestines and reattach them together. All the doctors, nurses, and other staff were awesome. They keep us updated during her stay. They checked on her after we brought her home. The pricing was fair for all they did for her and her stay in ICU. We will definitely recommend this Hospital. This is where we will go if ever needed again.
