★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! First sign was my dog snarling at Bustelo. This dog likes EVERYONE, but not that guy! Dog supposedly tested positive for heartworm that day, Bustelos eyes lit up, and we started the treatment protocol. Bustelo, however, never called back with x-ray results like he promised, and never addressed my concerns and questions. It took almost 2 weeks of me calling the office in order to hear back from him. I thought he just didn't care, but it makes all the sense in the world to me now! Another one of my 4 dogs had just dropped one day, months later, and couldn't move. Rushed her to this same awful practice, and they had me wait outside in the cold for over 20 mins while carrying my 60lb deadweight dog in my arms before we were let inside, and then we had to wait some more. Once finally inside the room, before even looking at the dog, Bustelo swore that it was because she had to also be HW+, whereas I was convinced it was toxicity from something organic in the yard - it was early Spring time. He tested her twice, supposedly, and his eyes absolutely lit up AGAIN when he said she was in fact HW positive! He really did seem happy about it. Charged us over $1200 that day alone and no explaination besides "HW". I soon requested copies of all records and charts to be emailed to me, and all I got was receipts. My husband didn't believe or trust Bustelo one bit, said he's a money grubber, and now I absolutely agree with my husband 100%. We recently moved out of state and I just had her tested again - for microflora as well as antigens - all came back with BIG FAT NEGATIVES! So that's why I wouldn't recommend this hospital, especially Bustelo, to anyone, ever. And if my friendly dog doesn’t like someone in the future, or if they're visibly afraid like my 3 girls were with him (but not with other vets), I'll trust their instincts from the start, and then follow my own and walk.
August 14 · Amber YearwoodI was amazed with the kindness and attention the whole staff treat the clients. They are really awesome. I loved them. And the doctor Dr. Manasco ...was a sweetheart. He was so patient with me...I am very old so he explained to me very calmly all I had to do to my dog...and repeated very nicely when I couldn't hear. And of course my dog got better the next day. He is the best vet that my pet ever went to .God bless him and his staff.
April 03 · Mar KorAmazing people great price. Doctors and workers go all out for your pets. Like I said amazing place.
July 31 · Noemi FoxLast month we visited this location with our mini pomeranian. He was in pain.He is a baby-9 months old. After an ex ray they gave a pain killer for the dog and put him on an laxatives. They didn’t see anything in stomach. They didn’t check where the pain comes from . So we left the clinic with painkillers and charge of around 400$ for the ex ray. The next day the doctor called and advised us to give laxatives and to back to clinic again for another x ray with additional payment of around 400$. We did not back there because they couldn’t put a right diagnosis after the exam and the dog continued screaming in awful pain. In the evening we visited another vet- emergency. What was my surprise- after the first step in the hospital the vet assistant looked at the dog, without “ carefully “ exam like in Woodstock vet clinic and told us she thinks it is a neck pain. They took a great care of our little pom. The next day I returned in Woodstock vet hospital and talked with the doctor, I asked why they put the dog on laxatives and why the doctor couldn’t make difference between pain in stomach and in the neck? I asked about a partial refund of our money.I was surprised of the answer of the doctor. HE TOLD THAT THEY COULD NOT MAKE THE EXAM OF THE BABY POMERANIAN BECAUSE THEY WERE FRIGHTENED OF THE DOG BECAUSE HE WOULD BITE HIM??!!!! Dear doctor, if you are afraid of baby pomeranian just change your job! You are not able to take care of dogs. But you also gave me the right answer to my question why i paid so much money for my other 2 dogs - American bullies. They are still with bacterial infections after boarding in your clinic.Maybe it’s time to stop frightening of dogs and begin taking care about them because in your clinic our family lost above 3000$!!!!!
February 03 · daniela stoyanovaMe & my new kitten, Dottie McFlurry, visited the practice today and what a wonderful experience! We met with Dr. Bustelo. I haven’t been in a hospital with such a friendly and welcoming staff, and so extremely clean, since I was a child. The team really took time to get to know my new cat-as to not overwhelm her. Her exam was extremely thorough, and educational. I am happy that we have found a great place to bring our pets! Thank you all so much!
