Petco Reviews
Aquarium service is disorganized with no way of serving customers in the way they should be serviced customers have to determine for themselves who arrived first and who goes next for service. Upon purchasing 5 gold fish the worker asked me how big is my tank. My response was why is she asking me and I told her I've kept fish my entire life. She continued her tirade by speaking with the customer who was waiting after me about how the fish cost more that the purchase price and continued to complain and show anger saying the fish have to be in 40 gallons of water per fish. Then she nasty told me I have 30 days to return them and I must bring back a water sample if I return themShe was angry and asked if I wanted anything else.

Mar 31, 2025 · Cecilia BrownThe location that I visit is on central avenue in Yonkers. Samantha grooms my dog usually and is awesome. Samantha cares for your dog and I feel good when I know my dog is being groomed by her. Jacqueline works the register usually and I love her energy. I feel like we knew each other before. Shes so welcoming and sweet. I added a puppy to the family after I had been there the day before. Well, where did I go for help? But, to Jacqueline. So glad she was there to assist with my purchase of needed items for my American Bully. I never had a puppy before or this breed of dog. She helped me get started! See you guys soon..
Mar 31, 2025 · cecilia brownI used to take my dog for grooming services, however they will no longer service him due to my negative feedback about the ooor service my dog received. I took my dog there and one of the groomers did the service in 30 minutes (wash, dry, and nails cut). After my service, Petco sent me a survey via email in the survey. I voice my displeasure with the service and gave them a poor review. I complained to the manager Dan and he offered to give me a free service. I explained to dad I do not want the free service. I am only letting him know of the poor service so they can rectify the situation going forward. I also mention that not all feedback will be positive. Feedback is given so if you’re doing something great OK, let’s continue doing what we’re doing. However, if the feedback is negative, let’s see what we can do to make the situation better or let’s see where the breakdown went between the customer and our service And let’s see how we can rectify the situation. I took my dog there on a different occasion and again the service was so poor. I called Dan and I mentioned that to him again he wasn’t happy again. He offered to do a free service and I declined. I told Dan I’m not in a business to get free service, I pay for whatever I get as far as service wise. I said I’m only calling you so you can speak to the groomer and again try to rectify the situation. After I made the two complaints, Petco blocked me from scheduling my service via the app. I had to call the store going forward in which I did. However, recently when I called Dan got on the phone and dad stated because of my unhappiness with the service they are no longer able to service with my dog. He says if I’m not happy go elsewhere. And I explained to Dan Dan, it’s not that I am unhappy with the service. I just want you guys to do better Find out why they are not grooming the dogs properly and he’s dad says oh you have multiple cancellations and this is one of the reasons why we are unable to service your dog. He said he suggest I go elsewhere. I called corporate to complain about Dan and he was very combative with me And I just want them to find out where to break down. Why are they not grooming the dogs properly and fix it so with that being said, Petco was not the only groomers out there. I found someone that’s cheaper than they are and are able to service my dog how the dog should be service so I will not ever go back there, So then you don’t have to worry about seeing me ever again good luck for those who take their dog there and make sure they do a thorough job with them.
Jun 06, 2025 · Divaloxx LadyToday 5/11/24 @around 330-4pmish, I took my pet for nail cut. The staff who took care of my pet was rough to my small dog. I was watching outside through the window glass where my dog can’t see me . I noticed how this staff was pulling his leg & so dangerously careless. I can hear my dog crying. Another staff came to assist. I noticed the other staff took sone meds to nurse my dog & I saw some blood on the grooming table. I went inside & I asked the staff if the dog was injured because of the blood & the response was” he will not die with that blood” & blamed me because I was watching . I told her to stop the grooming & hand me back my dog. She was pulling my dog while the leash was still on him. His neck was getting hurt & I was panicking while telling her to be careful. I was so upset with how this staff was behaving. When she handed me my dog she was aiming to physically assault me . Instead of being apologetic she was acting as if she will beat me up. The other staff was telling her to stop. I was emotionally stirred up & I was ready to call 911 to ask for police to intervene. The manager Laura came & was trying to calm me down. She said that the staff will have the consequences for her behavior. I took the manager’s information after I gave her my business card. She promised to do fact finding & she will send me the update by Monday. While I was talking to the manager, that staff was making faces at me & mocking me. How immature & unprofessional. I am so horrified with this grooming experience from this Petco staff. I hope no one should experience the way I was treated by this unprofessional, improperly trained, lack or having no compassion towards animals & human beings. She was so rude, disrespectful & even threatened to physically assault me.The pictures below were taken after I spoke with the manager. The grooming table still showing my dog’s blood. The person standing was the petco staff that I was referring to.
