I don’t normally shop at a pet store as everything seemed so convenient “online;”however, when a food shipment for my new sphynx kitten didn’t show up as expected I told myself NEVER AGAIN. I want to be able to walk into a store and buy my cats “special food” and have complete control. Sure, things may be a little more expensive but you don’t buy a sphynx without that expectation to begin with. Especially when you get the customer care both Anthony( store manager) and Kayleigh (customer associate) greet you with at the Petco off Hanbury road. They both were diligent in finding the perfect fit to my kittens needs. If Anthony didn’t know something, he used his handy dandy electronic tool to figure it out about his products. Kayleigh went right to the product she felt would meet my need, and after much research that in fact was the perfect fit. Thanks so much Anthony and Kayleigh for making me a new loyal customer! I thought I was getting some treats on sale or clearance but when I paid for them they rang up 12.49, I told the cashier what it showed but she wouldn’t change it. I had already paid for it so I went and took a picture of what it showed but she just smiled and said sorry I can’t do anything about it. I will walk out again without speaking with a manager!! Very poor experience for me!!

One of the items I had said it was in stock. 5 minutes after I placed my order, I got a message saying my order was canceled. So I had to call the store. They said everything was fine. I had selected a substitute item in case my items weren't in stock. Went to pick it up, and the item I ordered was sitting on the shelf, and so was the substitute item.Similarly, my husband made an online order and also picked a substitute item. The item he ordered was not in stock, but the substitute item was.He spoke to a manager about it because now he was out the money from the online order and had to wait 3-5 business days for a refund, and the manager said there was nothing that could be done. If they had only paid attention to the substitute item instead of being in a rush to close the order, this could have been avoided. What's the point in adding a substitute item if it's going to be completely ignored.

I saw 2 worker at the door and tried to ask them a question , but one just mumbled something we could not understand and closed the door. I understand the store does not open until 9.00am but a little customer service would have been much appreciated . As we get our pet groomed here and purchase item from this location.
