As a specialized pet store focusing on reptiles, Rhonda's Reptiles offers a unique set of services tailored to the needs of these animals and their owners. While a comprehensive list would best be obtained by contacting them directly, based on the nature of such a business and available information, you can expect the following types of services:
Reptile Sales and Adoptions: The core service involves the responsible sale and adoption of various reptile species, potentially including snakes, lizards, turtles, and amphibians like frogs. This would involve ensuring animals are healthy and suitable for adoption.
Reptile Supplies and Equipment: A specialized store would stock a wide array of essential supplies for reptile husbandry. This includes terrariums, vivariums, heating elements (lamps, heat mats), lighting (UVB, UVA), substrates, decor, water dishes, and cleaning supplies.
Live and Frozen Feeder Animals: Providing appropriate nutrition is crucial for reptiles. This service would likely include the sale of live feeder insects (crickets, mealworms, roaches) and possibly frozen rodents (mice, rats) in various sizes.

This would cover topics such as species-specific care requirements, habitat setup, feeding schedules, troubleshooting common health issues, and general husbandry tips for new and experienced owners alike.
Reptile Rescues and Rehoming: As indicated by a customer review, Rhonda's Reptiles actively participates in animal welfare, including taking in abandoned animals (like the frogs mentioned in the review) and helping to find them suitable new homes. This service highlights a commitment beyond mere retail.
Medication and Health Product Recommendations: While not a veterinary clinic, the owner's willingness to provide "meds for a sick one" (as mentioned in her own response) suggests she can offer informed recommendations on over-the-counter reptile health products or guide owners towards appropriate veterinary care when needed.

Rhonda's Reptiles Reviews
As the owner of Rhonda’s Reptiles, I would like to address the comments from Karma Paradox and Trey K. Whom I am sure are one and the same person. He is upset that after leaving reptiles with me for 8 mos without any contact in regards to the said reptiles, I adopted one out. He contacted me a week after the adoption and was upset. I explained that I had agreed to keep the animals for a couple months while he found suitable housing. Did not hear from him regarding the reptiles in my care for at least 8 mos, he did however ask me for meds for a sick one he had which I gave him meds for. I also would like to point out that he not once offered to get food for the reptiles in my care. Also I returned the remaining reptiles that were in my care back to him upon his request, which I made add on a legal standpoint I had no obligation to do so and all were in good health.
Jul 23, 2020 · Rhonda LeavittA++ Rhonda really does save lives!Sombody abandoned over 20 frogs outside in the cold, I was able to save them from off the streets and find homes for some of them, But it was too much for me. Rhonda didn't hesitate a moment to help. She is extremely knowledgeable and cares so much about the animals. I couldnt recommend her more!
Jan 02, 2025 · JP CLASSIUnfortunately doesn't take care of her animals. Your reptile will probably be shoved into a room among hundreds and never seen again until they're sick or deceased. Avoid this disaster, entrust your pet to a loved one or screen new homes yourself.Edit - Since she deleted mine and my parter's reviews I'm going to add that Rhonda is a thoroughly untrustworthy person. Everything she claimed in her review of herself(lmao) is a lie. I asked about my animals multiple times - to most of which I received no response. The "sick reptiles" in question were sick only after she had them in her possession. As for thinking she had no obligation to give them back - hilarious! There was no paperwork filed and thus they were not surrenders. I had full proof of our agreements over text. She knew this. And to top it off my lizard was returned emaciated with a water dish he couldn't reach. It's unfortunate she would rather double down on dishonesty than provide an honest apology and reimbursement for sick animals, or I would have happily edited my review as a resolved issue. All of the ball pythons I received from her were sick, and she didn't seem to care.I definitely agree with the reviews about poor conditions and an ungrateful attitude. Taking in animals doesn't make anyone a saint. Heaven forbid you expect them to treat the animals and people they serve with respect.I am glad some people had good experiences and hopefully some animals make it out of here unscathed. But there is no excuse for treating any animal or client poorly, and no excuse for dishonest business practices.
Mar 12, 2025 · Dozing GreenSnatched up donation of $100 without but a single thank you or acknowledgement. I gave her not one, but (4) 100% healthy, large snakes (including a 6-foot Honduran Tangerine) and she never answered my inquiries about those snakes but had the nerve to complain about the billiards/bowling guy when she was a carbon copy. Beware of this scary, angry lady.
Nov 22, 2024 · Ted SchulenbergI am writing a review for what I have seen in the photots and I will say it does look dingy and bland, the reptiles do not seem to have any lights, unless they are empty. They are also foggy like dirty foggy which might have been for the photo but I have seen others saying the animals are not cared for and seeing a place like this I can assume it is not the best place for reptiles to be. I do need to go there to actually see myself so take this with a grain of salt. Just warning others if you see places that do not treat their animals right say something, spread something, stop something.
