Jan 17, 2025 · Zeke DelmonicoVery happy with the entire experience! All of the staff is so friendly and helpful, even with my difficult, reactive dog. They have always been understanding and so willing to help! I would recommend them to anybody!
Jun 06, 2025 · Madeline SmithThank you for taking care of my sweet girl Quinn Felicia while we were in town on vacation. All the staff was very kind & helpful. Thank you BIG, she is already on the mend & we are enjoying our time in beautiful South Carolina!
Jul 04, 2024 · Sara DeSouzaFor a veterinarian to tell me that ivermectin cannot be prescribed because it is dangerous for pets is preposterous. Any medication, not to mention some plants, nuts, fruits and spices, can be toxic to animals. Any product developed for preventative or prescriptive use must be administered with care, even those in boxes. Your vet is either ignorant, or worse and has some other illogical approach to decision making. I will NOT be recommending this place to anyone. For context, there is no reason why I am forced to administer pyrantel in addition to ivermectin for heart worm prevention. Not only was this vet ill informed (heartgard and nuheart are only sold now with 'plus' for pyrantel) she had a terrible approach to handling a rescue dog that is scared.Front staff very niceVet incompetentWill not recommend.I recommend AGAINST this place
Apr 03, 2025 · Cathleen GriffethThis place has been taken over by a new group and Dr Silver is unfortunately no longer there. I had 2 dogs seen for wellness visit. Did not check weight on one. No temp on either. They hurt my elder dog (schnauzer/toy poodle mix) with multiple attempts at a heart worm test until I had to step out to see what was going on because I could hear her crying in the back. Vet suggested I sedate her next time so they can get this test. Never have I in her 13 years of life had to do this and before they always did the test in the room.Assuming the vibe from my elder dog made my younger dog (medium labradoodle) sense something because she had untypical behaviors towards the staff on exam such as growling and appearing very nervous. I have been using Twin Oaks for at least 10 years and have never had this type of experience on a wellness visit. I will now be searching for a new provider. If dogs act strangely towards a place or person, there’s usually a reason. Staff were all friendly and polite but my labradoodle has never growled at anyone or anything so this seemed like a red flag.
