While the business positions itself as a source for puppies with "Happy, Healthy Bloodline" from "Responsible breeders" with "Top Veterinarian Care," it is crucial for potential buyers to be aware of the range of experiences reported by community members. This article will present these perspectives, emphasizing the importance of informed decision-making for those looking to add a new furry family member, encouraging thorough research before any purchase.

- Puppy Sales: Sunshine Puppies Two primarily sells puppies of various breeds. Their website lists breeds such as Havalier, Cavachon, Lhasa Apso, Malti-Poo, Schnoodle, Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Poodle, Shih Tzu, Siberian Husky, and Yorkshire Terrier.
- Breeder Sourcing (as described by the business): The business states it "only promote breeders that have earned our respect through compassionate and responsible breeding programs where the health of not only the bloodline but equally important the health and happiness of the parents is a priority!" They claim to reward breeders for OFA certifications and perfect inspection records.
- Veterinary Care (as described by the business): The business states, "Our organization is probably the only pet shop in the state of Florida, and maybe in the country, that has a fully dedicated veterinarian just for our babies."
- Customer Interaction (varied experiences): While some customers interact directly with staff during their visit, issues regarding responsiveness to post-purchase concerns (e.g., puppy health, paperwork) have been reported, with some customers stating calls were ignored or not returned.
- Information Provision (mixed reports): The business aims to educate parents, stating, "An educated parent is always the best parent," though customer experiences vary regarding the accuracy and completeness of information provided at the time of sale (e.g., AKC registration).
- Wide Variety of Puppy Breeds: The store generally offers a diverse selection of puppy breeds, allowing potential buyers to choose from many popular and less common types, as listed on their website.
- Accessibility for In-Person Viewing: Located on a major thoroughfare, the store's physical presence allows local Floridians to visit in person to see the puppies available, which is a key feature for many considering a pet purchase.
- Business Claims of Responsible Sourcing: The business asserts a commitment to happy and healthy bloodlines, claiming to work with "responsible breeders" who prioritize the health and happiness of parent dogs and achieve OFA certifications and perfect inspection records. - Animal Welfare Concerns: Several reviews explicitly detail "SEVERE ANIMAL NEGLECT," with claims of puppies being "covered in there feces and urine" and kept in "kennel too small," including a Great Dane puppy. Reports mention a "horrible" smell and conditions that made it impossible to interact with puppies without encountering waste.
- Inadequate Housing Conditions: Specific complaints include puppies expected to "drink water out of hamster water feeder" and long-term confinement in "small cages," with one Pekingese puppy reportedly "locked in that small cage for 6 months."
- Health and Veterinary Care Allegations: A severe concern raised is the reported death of a husky puppy "due to it not being taken to the vet," despite the business's claims of having a dedicated veterinarian. Customers report puppies being sold with health issues (e.g., kennel cough, vomiting, diarrhea) immediately after purchase.
- Lack of Transparency and Warranty Issues: Customers report being given "false information" about AKC registration and being told "no warranty on their health whatsoever." Attempts to resolve issues, such as getting a new fish (if this refers to an oversight in the provided text, it should be clarified or removed as the business is specifically about puppies), or obtaining promised paperwork, have reportedly been met with unresponsiveness.
- Financial Focus Over Animal Well-being: Some reviews suggest that the store's primary motivation is "money and not what’s best for the animal."
- Cited for Animal Neglect: One review explicitly states the "store was literally cited for animal neglect."

For Florida residents considering a puppy purchase in the Clearwater area, Sunshine Puppies Two presents a complex set of considerations. While the store offers the convenience of a physical location on a major road with a wide variety of puppy breeds, potential customers are urged to exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough independent research.
The suitability of Sunshine Puppies Two for locals is heavily dependent on individual priorities and a willingness to investigate beyond the business's stated claims. For those seeking immediate access to a variety of puppy breeds in a convenient, local setting, the store's visible location on Gulf to Bay Boulevard certainly meets that criterion. However, the serious and consistent allegations of "SEVERE ANIMAL NEGLECT," unsanitary conditions (puppies "covered in there feces and urine"), inadequate housing (Great Dane in a "kennel too small," "hamster water feeder"), and concerns over veterinary care (puppy death "due to it not being taken to the vet") as detailed in multiple customer reviews, raise significant red flags.
For Floridians who prioritize animal welfare and the ethical sourcing of pets, these customer accounts, including reports of the store being "literally cited for animal neglect," suggest that Sunshine Puppies Two may not align with those values. The reported lack of health warranties and unresponsive customer service for post-purchase issues further complicates the decision-making process for potential buyers. While the business attempts to project an image of responsible breeding and care, the contrasting experiences shared by community members underscore the importance of physically inspecting the premises, observing animal conditions firsthand, asking detailed questions about health records and breeder information, and considering alternative adoption or reputable breeder options before making a commitment. Ultimately, for the local Florida community, Sunshine Puppies Two should be approached with a high degree of scrutiny to ensure alignment with personal ethical standards for animal well-being.

Sunshine Puppies Two Reviews
SEVERE ANIMAL NEGLECT AT THIS STORE. Puppies are covered in there feces and urine. This is no way for any dog to live. Especially keeping a Great Dane puppy locked up in a kennel too small and expecting these dogs to drink water out of hamster water feeder. Absolutely awful. This place needs to be shut down. All they want is money and not what’s best for the animal. In response to what sunshine puppies said, clearly there is a disconnect as a husky puppy recently died in there care due to it not being taken to the vet. The store was literally cited for animal neglect so I’m unsure of what vet you are talking about because clearly this dog didn’t receive adequate vet care and died under your care. Also you can’t deny the pictures of the dogs sitting in there own feces and urine. Like are you serious lol. A hamster water canister? Do not buy a dog from these people. Clearly they are not being properly taken care of.
Sep 19, 2024 · AECI visited this store a few weeks ago and my heart broke to see how the puppies were kept. It wasn't even possible to play with a puppy because they are walking in their own pee and feces. They had a 6 month old pekingese on sale for $300, when I asked why he was so cheap they said it was because he was 6 months old and nobody wanted to buy an older puppy which I thought was ridiculous because people adopt adult dogs all the time. I asked what kind of warranty they had and they offer no warranty on their health whatsoever. The puppies are kept in small cages so that pekingese has been locked in that small cage for 6 months. The place smelled horrible and as much as I love dogs I wouldn't want to pet one of them in the condition they were in. It's really hard to believe the good reviews people leave on here after seeing it with my own eyes.
Sep 19, 2024 · Karla GonzalezWe bought a puppy from this store and the next day my daughter, who has autism, started having allergies, we called the store, they promised to call back in 20 minutes, but no one called back. The next day, we went to the store on our own and the manager said that they had no refund, exchange or other compromise. They didn't help us with our problem in any way, the owner doesn't want to talk to us and solve the resulting problem, they didn't even give us the owner's phone number. It's only been 1 day since we bought the puppy, and we had no way of knowing in advance that such a problem would arise. I think such a business should be responsible for such situations that may arise in real life if they really care about dogs. As a result, they don’t have good business or care about the customers, they just care about their business. DO NOT go here purchase a puppy!
Jun 15, 2025 · Виктория Драхенбергterrible. this place is terrible. they keep the puppies locked in cages almost 24/7. they don’t change the cages when they pee, and they don’t even get let outside to go potty. the cages were off the ground so when the puppies would be it would just go onto a plastic thing and they don’t clean it up. you aren’t allowed to touch the puppies AT ALL. me and my friend went there and we aren’t allowed to take pictures of videos because they know what they’re doing is wrong and animal abuse so no one could report it without evidence. since we were allowed to pet the dogs, we would put our hand outside the cage and they would lick them or sniff them, the lady working there that day was in polite and rude. we weren’t allowed to touch the puppies and when our hands weren’t even in the cage she told us to stop letting them lick our hands or sniff them or anything. it’s gross and disgusting to see those poor babies treated so poorly. DO NOT GO THERE UNLESS YOU ARE BUYING A PUPPY!!!! also, the dogs were over 800$ for them. it’s insane. those poor babies deserve so much more and i will NOT be going back.
Mar 02, 2025 · Rayah HenryFirst I want to say it started with our phone call to this place and how Dana answered all of our questions we had about a Shih Tzu she was very kind and courteous, made us feel welcome and we hadn’t even stepped in the door yet. Once we got there you could tell Dana had control of the whole place and she cared about all of the babies. She sat us down with the dog we spoke of the day before and got to know him and bond with him. He is perfect for us and his name is Cujo. I couldn’t be happier with the service she gave us!!!
