What is worth choosing? For pet owners in Colorado, choosing a veterinarian is a deeply personal decision that requires a careful consideration of all factors. A Pet's Place Animal Hospital presents a complex picture. On one hand, it has a long history in the community and offers a wide array of services, including advanced treatments and comprehensive care from puppyhood to old age. Positive reviews highlight the excellent care provided by multiple doctors and the entire staff, with clients feeling that the team is wonderful, kind, and goes "above and beyond." This feedback suggests that for many, the clinic is a trusted and reliable choice. However, the presence of a deeply negative review is a significant point of consideration. This reviewer claims that a misdiagnosis and a subsequent prescription for a steroid caused their dog's eye condition to worsen significantly, almost leading to the loss of the eye. They also express a sense of being "manhandled" and a lack of accountability and empathy from the staff, including a person named Lezley, who allegedly refused to apologize. This is a very serious claim that raises questions about the clinic’s protocols and customer service in moments of crisis. While it is one person's experience, it is a piece of public data that cannot be overlooked. A potential client should weigh the long-standing positive reputation and the extensive services against this specific and severe negative feedback. It would be prudent for new clients to have an open discussion with the clinic about their approach to diagnostics, treatment options, and client communication, especially in high-stress situations. Ultimately, A Pet's Place Animal Hospital offers an impressive range of services and has a track record of satisfying many clients, but the negative review indicates a level of risk and a need for cautious consideration before choosing them for your pet's care.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1If I could give 0 stars I would.Do not go to this place.I took my dog here for an eye issue he was having, after man handling my dog and terrifying him, the doctor told me she didn't know what was wrong. That would be okay if that's where this ended, but she gave me a prescription for a steroid anyway. After using the steroid for a week, my dogs eye got EXTREMELY BAD.I canceled my next appointment because after talking to the doctor on the phone, she stated she still didn't know what it was.I took him to an optomologist, and the more knowledgable doctor stated that the steriods they gave me is the entire problem, that what was happening to my dog was completely normal, but the steroid made it worse. My dog almost lost his eye because of these people, he is only 4 years old. The new doctors drops fixed him almost 100%.I called back to A Pets Place to ask for an apology, they absolutely refused. Lady named Lezley was extremely rude, ignorant and told me they take no fault in what happened. My lawyer told me I could win but it would not be worth it, I will be fighting them anyone. How dare they do this to someone's pet.Absolutely disgusting company.Me and my pet group will no longer be using this place, as they do not care about our pets.Don't take a chance, go somewhere else.
October 15 · Brandon DronetI’ve spent far too much time at A Pet’s Place over the last year, but I’m grateful for the excellent care and attention to my pup, Pepperoni. I’ve seen both Dr. Primeau and Dr. Vail, and now Dr. Jones— all three have been wonderful. The vet techs and client care staff are incredible, too. Can’t recommend more highly!
October 26 · Caney DemarsEvery visit Bandit is treated like he's the most important dog in the world. We appreciate A Pet's Place very much!!
March 30 · Gail SundbergWorst service ever we went to take aour beloved dog to get put down with broken hearts and the vet nurses kept smirking almost laughing every time we stared crying again. Then to top it off we get the police called them claiming neglect wich they didnt mention to us at all, cops show up take our statements and pictures they determined we indeed were not negletfull and our dog had a beautiful happy home. Would not recommend to take your pets here if you do not want to feel judged. Very sad with our experience.
August 01 · Holga EspinozaWe have been bringing our 2 cats to A Pet's Place for the past 7 years and have been very happy with the care and service they have provided. They are so kind to the animals and explanation of what is going on is done in a way we can understand. I have referred this vet to a lot of people and not 1 of them have ever come back and said they was not happy.
