★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’ve had many different vets over the years, but Dr. Singh at Abel Animal Hospital is by far the most thorough, compassionate, and caring…for both pets and their owners. His attention to detail and commitment to finding the root of a problem, rather than just treating symptoms, is something rare in a doctor these days.I originally went to him for a BOAS surgery consult for my microbully, Lucy. I expected him to focus only on that, but he did a full, incredibly thorough exam and identified multiple issues I wasn’t fully aware of. And we left with a complete plan for her care. Dr. Singh performed Lucy’s BOAS surgery using a laser instead of a scalpel, which made healing so much faster. The results were amazing…he opened her nares and removed a significant amount of excess soft palate tissue from the back of her throat. He also runs full lab work, testing, and an EKG before surgery to ensure pets are safe for anesthesia. Lucy also has chronic nail splits and a persistent bacterial infection, and Dr. Singh has been working with me to get both under control. He also recommended a diet change after noticing food sensitivities, and now (except for her paws) her skin looks fantastic. He’s taken what felt like a daunting, hopeless situation and broken it into small, manageable steps that actually work. The staff is equally wonderful…friendly, caring, and attentive. Once, when I forgot my phone charger, a staff member brought me her personal charger to use. Another time, when Lucy’s temperature spiked from stress, they rushed in with fans, ice packs, and cold towels, staying with us until she was calm. I have so many stories like this, and I’ve only been going there a few months.I truly cannot give this office enough stars. I’m so grateful to have found Dr. Singh and his team, and I will never take my animals anywhere else. Very highly recommend!**the first three photos are before Lucy’s surgery, and the last three photos were taken three days after surgery.
August 11 · Amy RuminskiOur pup experienced extreme stomach distress. I took him to numerous vets trying to identify what was happening. Abell was the only vet able to figure it out and recommended a diet that eliminated certain products and our pup has been great ever since!
July 31 · Vanessa VillaniRecently switched to Abell and very happy we did. Facility is clean and the staff and Dr’s have been great! We have been really going through it both of dogs for different reasons and the vets here have been amazing. Recently we had to come in for an emergency visit as our chihuahua mix, Dusty, developed an advanced cataract overnight. The specialist stated our Vet likely saved his eye with the treatment she was able to provide him on that initial visit. We are very grateful!
July 03 · Renee GonzalezWe love the care our dog receives here! The vets and technicians are all kind and knowledgeable! We love every vet and technician that helps us. Frankie is a six year old Shihtzu who can has quite a personality and they always handle him with love and patience.
June 25 · Candace McGuffeyAbell animal hospital staff and veterinarians are extremely caring. Always responsive and understanding of pet needs. Enzo and Roma love Dr Singh
