Their commitment to comprehensive care is evident in their ability to handle diverse cases, from preventative measures to urgent care and even sensitive end-of-life discussions. Based on public information and customer experiences, their services include:
- Urgent and Walk-in Appointments: A crucial service, particularly for new clients or those in distress, as highlighted by a customer who was able to get an immediate appointment for a severely scratching pet when other clinics were booked for weeks.
- Diagnosis and Treatment of Allergies: Expertise in identifying and managing pet allergies, including diagnostic insights (like distinguishing between outdoor vs. other allergies) and providing effective treatments such as steroid injections, topical applications, and recommendations for long-term management.
- Comprehensive Vaccinations and Preventive Medicine: Offering core and optional vaccines for both dogs and cats, ensuring pets are protected from common diseases. This also includes wellness exams for all life stages, from puppies and kittens to senior pets, covering parasite control and behavioral concerns.

The example of the vet gently breaking the news of cancer to parents privately, rather than to a teenager, demonstrates a profound understanding of family dynamics and emotional support.
- Effective Problem Solvers: The clinic has a proven track record of effectively diagnosing and treating complex issues, such as severe allergies that caused significant distress, and accurately assessing vaccination schedules to prevent unnecessary re-vaccinations.
- Thorough Diagnostics and Explanations: The use of imaging (like X-rays) to clearly explain a diagnosis, even in dire circumstances like widespread cancer, allows owners to make informed decisions and find peace in their choices.
- Client Education: They provide clear instructions and recommendations for home care, such as specific over-the-counter medications or where to purchase treatments, empowering owners to participate actively in their pet's recovery.
- Building Long-Term Relationships: The positive experiences lead to strong client loyalty, with families gladly returning with new pets, demonstrating sustained trust and satisfaction with the quality of care provided.

ALFA CARE ANIMAL HOSPITAL Reviews
My poor baby was scratching herself bloody everywhere and our normal vet was not answering the phone so I called everywhere. Every single place I called didn’t take walk ins, didn’t except new clients & had appointments out until the end of September. Until I reached ALFA CARE. I called them at 5:30 PM on Friday and she said to come in at 6pm. I sped there with my baby (who was absolutely terrified 😭). We got in a room immediately. They said she had allergy to something (not outdoors). Gave her a steroid shot. Told me to go buy baby Benadryl & to keep putting triple antibiotic ointment on the spots like I had been. And to buy flea & tick treatment from their online pharmacy. Not sure if it was the steroids or the ointment I was putting on. But the dry does on her head clumped up and releases from her scalp. And her bloody spots have healed. So I’m happy And she’s happy, just a little sore when you touch her now bald spot directly.
Jul 20, 2023 · Megan ScullyWe brought our dog here due to a cough that wasn't going away. We needed a appointment that day and they fit us in.The Vet was very gentle with my son and Thor when he broke the news that our guy had cancer. When he took my husband and I to the back to talk to us privately, he showed us the imaging they took and explained that the cancer was everywhere. He wanted us to know because he didn't feel right about telling our teenager his dog had possibly one month to live. We appreciated his kindness. We went home and Thor lived like a king. We had him for three more months and he lived his best life.Thank you for everyone there. We now have a little puppy and we have gladly went back to the same vet again. When the vet we were told to go to couldn't see us and told me we would have to restart all vaccinations cause they weren't sure what he got while they saw him at the pet store we were at a loss. We called Animal Care and they had us come in the next day to figure it all out. There was no need to restart anything. They looked at his paperwork we had and said he was in schedule.I will gladly take my little guy here for all his doggie needs!
Aug 25, 2022 · Evelyn Joyce MartinezWhenever I bring my dog to this clinic, he is eagerly excited seeing the doctor and staff. The team is consistently friendly, promptly returning calls with helpful responses. Maddie, in particular, was pleasant and exceptionally helpful in addressing my needs.
Feb 27, 2024 · angela kWonderful Place! I got a same day appointment, which is really hard lately. The Dr was professional and great with our dog. Receptionist was nice and friendly. Our dog had an infected nail and we got meds and were in and out of there in under 30 minutes.
Oct 20, 2021 · MomI just adopted two cats, who have never been to the vet before. I took them here for a wellness, vaccines, blood work, and. A fecal. They told me both cats were perfectly fine other then one was throwing up so we switched his food. Took them to a different vet for blood work to get my one cat fixed. And it turns out my cat was dying and was extremely anemic. His blood was the consistency of water. And both cats have tapeworms. This vet was so negligent, how did they not see my poor cat had white gums and everything else. If I could give this place one star I would! I would highly suggest goin to a different vet!!! When I called to get answers on how they missed everything. They told me it was all my fault because "I brought a wrong or bad fecal sample" when it was fresh. And that all the problems must have happened after I left the vet. I went here one week before taking them to a different vet so please tell me how it all randomly happened in one week. The staff was extremely rude, to me and my mom over the phone, and refused my refund for the wellness, blood work, and fecal. This place does not care about your animals nor they care about weather or not your pets lives. When I called to get a corporate number or anyone to call higher up they told me good luck trying to find one. "They did nothing wrong" I'm begging anyone with a pet please call around and find another vet.
