Jun 21, 2025 · sunshine doesDO NOT, I repeat DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. They have a 24 hour veterinary office advertised on their front desk, Eve animal hospital. That is where I initially took my elderly cat, because she had cyst on her cheek. The doctor there said she has an infected tooth, and that is what’s causing the cyst, and also why she won’t eat on her own. They recommended I take her to a “tooth specialist” down the street from them, and also gave her a weeks worth of antibiotics.I called the recommended place and they were booked for almost two months out.I found Alma School Animal hospital on google. I called and asked if they do tooth extractions, and the nice lady on the phone said they did. I booked an appointment to get a consultation.I took her in, and Hector took a look at her and took her back to examine her.Mind you, I told the lady at the front desk and Hector, EVE said she has an infected tooth. He said multiple times throughout the consult how “he hates to do tooth extractions on elderly cats.” He came back with my baby, and she said it was just a cyst, and didn’t see an infected tooth. He cut it open, and I continued the antibiotics. They charged me $80 for the visit and $200 for the cyst. A couple of days later, the cyst came back!it was on a Sunday when I noticed, and I called EVE and they said a vet just can’t find out if cats have an infected tooth with the naked eye. They had to do an x-ray to see if it was infected at the root.Hector, “a veterinarian” applied little to no of what he was taught at whatever school he attended, because he didn’t want to remove a tooth from my cat!! Now my cats need to live with the pain of having an infected tooth and her cyst. I have to feed her pate by HAND, because she can’t eat on her own. This process takes about 45 MINUTES!!! Twice a day!! Her eye is constantly tearing up, and I can tell she’s in pain. I HATE MYSELF for believing him. My cat means the world to me.So I took her to an other vet, and the vet there said she could clearly see she has an infected tooth, and we have an appointment to get her tooth removed.Hector charged me nearly $300 for a temporary solution because he was TOO AFRAID TO DO HIS JOB!Again, if you love your pet. Do yourself and your pet a favor and take your baby somewhere else. I can’t speak for all the vets there, but I have NO IDEA how Hector ever became a veterinarian.
Apr 14, 2025 · Roland BatesI have been taking my kitties to Alma School Animal Hospital for about 20 years. I have even adopted two cats from them. The veterinarians and technicians are kind, caring, and practical. I have never felt pressured into any treatments. The prices are also very resonable.
Jun 19, 2025 · CAbsolutely love this place. Dr. Junger was amazing and took care of my pet with endless kindness and love. Can't recommend enough!
