★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I just recently switched to American Animal Hospital of Neenah from another clinic. It was a tale as old as time… Find a vet, see them for 15 years, then they go corporate, and everything changes.I meet a lot of veterinarians through my job, they volunteer their time to spay and neuter outside, community cats. So when I first started thinking about switching my cats to a different clinic, I was able to get the general vibe of the vet, and thought who would I like to look after my cats.Dr. Bero is heavily committed to volunteer community work, which I find very important to me. I watch him spay feral cats that he has no immediate connection to, and he does a wonderful, thorough job. So I knew that I could trust him with my cats. And not to mention, he was in a fairly convenient place, not too far away from my house.I came out of the Initial appointment with my cat, Jasper, absolutely stunned. I had been getting used to terrible service from the other clinic and this was the exact opposite. Dr. Bero took the time to do a nose to tail explanation of what was going on with Jasper, made some recommendations, and did some blood work. When the results came in he personally called me, which I was impressed by that professional touch. The prices were lower than at the old place, which doubled their prices immediately upon going corporate. American Animal Hospital of Neenah is the antithesis of corporate, and pride themselves on that fact.
June 23 · Kristin MusialI LOVE this place! The staff and Dr. Ann are so down to earth and knowledgeable. They listen and acknowledge concerns I may have and offer realistic, common sense advice and recommendations for treatment. It is definitely a collaboration between them, the pet and the pet parent to decide what the best plan is for the individual pet, not a blanket course of treatment. I felt like I was heard and never pressured or guilted into unnecessary pricey procedures. I know my little guy is in excellent hands. Highly, highly recommend!
July 24 · Lynne C FinleyPrices are a little high in my opinion, however, their level of care for your pets is exceptional. If your pet is part of the family - they're worth it. My older dog was struggling with arthritis and even just getting up and down. I had taken her to 2 other vets which basically responded with expensive pain meds which didn't work well and were bad for her long term health. AAH offered another solution in a once a month shot. She's been on it for about a year now. It's expensive, but my dog has 80+% of her mobility back and is almost completely pain free. Now goes up and down stairs again and chases rabbits. Absolutely worth it. And you can tell that everyone that works there actually loves animals. My dog actually likes going there to see them and obviously trust them. Great customer service and support. My dog's quality of life was completely restored. So definitely worth it.
August 14 · Terry ShipleyAbsolutely adore it here. I’ve been to many vets and they are single handily the best. The care and love they have for my cats, they really treat them as they are their own pets! They make sure you’re well informed on any issue is going on with your pet and also give great recommendations for over the counter medications to help your pet. They price very reasonable and always make sure to give you the quickest booking they can! 100% this is your best choice for you and your pet!
June 05 · Ashley DevroyI switched vets this week as my old vet was not doing much to help my dog. From the moment I called I knew this place was different. Everyone was thorough and answered all questions. I was able to get in the following day. The woman at the front brought us back to the room and immediately got us rugs that suctioned to the floor so my dogs back legs wouldn't keep sleeping. The young woman vet tech (forgot her make) came in and asked many questions, went over history, and listened to my concerns. She was amazing, and so helpful. Todd, a CVT, I believe, came to assist with a blood draw that went smoothly and made my dog feel very comfortable. They both went above and beyond. Dr. B came in and talked to me for a bit going over what I had shared and actually explained things to me. He sat on the floor with my dog giving him love and attention ensuring he was okay. He immediately found several issues my previous vet missed. He was in the room for at least an hour ensuring the dog and I were both comfortable, understood everything, and were happy with the care plan. Todd came back several times to update me on costs so I wouldn't be surprised at the end. He even left his duties to assist with several minor procedures and explained things like a pro. I left feeling I was heard and finally knew how to help my dog. I went back two days later after Dr. B called to explain test results. Todd showed me how to administer liquids with grace and patience. He was so gentle with my dog and offered to show me again next time we came back so I could become more comfortable. I can't explain the relief I feel finally having answers and knowing the whole team from the front desk to the vets care as much as I do. Thank you!
