Animal Ambulance of Southern California Inc. Introduce
For pet owners in California, facing a pet's end-of-life journey is one of the most heart-wrenching decisions they will ever have to make. During such a sensitive and difficult time, the option of providing a peaceful, dignified, and comfortable passing at home can make all the difference. This is the primary mission of Animal Ambulance of Southern California Inc., a specialized emergency veterinarian and pet moving service that focuses on compassionate end-of-life care and critical pet transport. Unlike a traditional animal hospital, this service is mobile, bringing professional veterinary care and support directly to your home. This allows pets to remain in their familiar and comforting environment, surrounded by the people they love, which significantly reduces the stress and anxiety often associated with a final trip to a clinic. The services they offer, including in-home pet euthanasia, deceased pet removal, and cremation services, are all designed to handle every aspect of this sorrowful process with the utmost care and professionalism. They are also a crucial lifeline for veterinary clinics and emergency hospitals, providing licensed and equipped pet ambulance transfers for critical patients who need to be moved to another facility for continued care. This dual role—serving both individual pet owners and the wider veterinary community—highlights their expertise and reliability. The company's focus on this specific, and deeply personal, niche of veterinary care makes them an invaluable resource in the California community, providing a service that many pet owners wish they had when the time comes to say goodbye. Their business is built on empathy and a profound understanding of the human-animal bond, and this is reflected in every interaction, from the initial phone call to the final moments with your pet. They are not just a service provider but a compassionate partner in one of life's most challenging experiences.
The company’s dedication to providing a good experience, even in a "worst case scenario," as one customer review describes it, is what sets them apart. The review of their in-home euthanasia service for two large dogs speaks volumes about their kind and caring approach. The doctor's patience, allowing the family to take their time saying goodbye, and the gentle manner in which he handled the pet's passing and subsequent removal, demonstrate a level of compassion that is rare and deeply appreciated. The customer’s willingness to pay more for the comfort and peace of an at-home experience, stating it was "worth every penny," is a powerful endorsement of the value they provide. The professional testimonial from an employee at an emergency pet clinic further solidifies their reputation. The fact that they are consistently relied upon to transport critical patients, some of whom require oxygen during the trip, speaks to their professionalism, licensing, and expertise. This is a crucial service that ensures a continuum of care between different facilities, especially when a patient is too ill to be transported by their owner. Their vehicles are equipped for advanced critical care transport, and their staff, who are California licensed Registered Veterinary Technicians, have extensive emergency experience. This gives veterinarians and pet owners peace of mind knowing that their animal is in the hands of qualified professionals during a critical journey. Animal Ambulance of Southern California Inc. is a specialized service that fills a vital need in the pet healthcare landscape, providing not only essential medical transport but also a deeply compassionate and supportive service for families going through a pet's final moments. Their focus on this specific niche allows them to be experts in their field, offering a level of care and empathy that is invaluable to the community.
Animal Ambulance of Southern California Inc. is located at 12752 Garden Grove Blvd UNIT 102, Garden Grove, CA 92843, USA. euthanasia
★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We've used Animal Ambulance of So Cal twice with 2 large dogs. I've always felt terrible when their time comes having to take my senior dogs to the vet for euthanasia. Usually, they can't stand and feel awful. I found Animal Ambulance when our huge 145 pound mixed breed boy was reaching the end of his time. We cleaned up when he started having accidents, but when he couldn't get up and was laying in his mess, I knew it was time. They came out promptly and the doctor was very kind and caring. He let us take our time saying our goodbyes and once we said we were ready, he very gently sent our boy on his way. With utmost care he placed our boy on a collapsible gurney, covered him and took him to the ambulance. Yes, it costs more than taking them into the vet (the price is based on weight, just like the vet's office), but it's worth every penny to let them go peacefully at home. I can't recommend them highly enough. The experience with our second boy (125 lbs) was just as good. You're in a worst case scenario when it's time to say goodbye to your furry baby, but Animal Ambulance makes it a good as possible. I'd add that I'll use them again and again, but we moved out of state and I wish they were here! Thank you so much, Animal Ambulance
October 16 · Vicki McGuireAnimal Ambulance helps the clients and their pets at the emergency pet clinic where I work. They are always available to help transport our critical patients to their family veterinarian for continued care, especially those that need oxygen during transport. They are professional and licensed. Highly recommend!
April 23 · Elaine MyersI called to advise that my 17 year old cat having had not eaten nor drank water for 4 days. I called about euthanasia they were not quick to take advantage of this situation to make money they brought out why didn't I try to feed the cat tuna and see if he would eat that and go from there. First two days barely ate the tuna but thereafter has been eating and drinking water. It has been 12 days and my cat is doing well. Eating and playing. I am so grateful to Andy who was the one I spoke with and to the company that no doubt promotes this kindness. With all my heart, thank you. ❤️

February 05 · Leigh JasonWe recently used this service for at-home euthanasia for our 15 year old Jack Russell. The vet was very kind, patient, professional and compassionate and made a very difficult time a little less difficult. I will refer them to all of my friends and family who have to go through this very difficult experience.
