- Brought my dog here thinking it was the last business that was at this building. I chose to move forward anyways. It was morning of storms and I took chance to see if they would see us as a walk in. Since I had a feeling people would not show up for their appointments. They said yes, i was informed up front of charges, except the office visit. The receptionist( a sweet older woman) forgot to let me know about the office visit charge. Which is fine, it is expectedThey took us to the back for shots, the 1st shot went well, but the second shot the male assistant who was holding my dog, did not hold her well enough for the 2nd shot, dog moved, and well my baby cried. Never seen my dog cry like that. It broke my heart. She is just a 13 week puppy. At that point my dog was screaming and barking and the male assistant basically threw her on the table afraid she might bite him. The Dr. back up as well afraid of my dog. He tried to distract her but she was in lot of pain and she was not having it . They said “its always the little dogs, always acting like drama queens.” No accountability from the assistant for not holding her well enough. Our second visit, i walked in on my day off to see if I could get last round of shots. It was 8:30am when they 1st open. The parking lot was empty, no one else in the lobby. I was prepared if they said we are fully booked i would have just came back. This time a younger girl was at the front desk. She informed me there would be a $70 “walk in free” on top of all the services. I informed her I had walked in before and I was not charged walk in fee. She just continued to turn the TV on, didn’t even offer to say hey, don’t worry, i’ll schedule you an appointment. I just walked out disappointed. I guess they wanted a walk in fee, office visit fee and whatever else my doggy needed. I just went somewhere else. May 03 · Alma Moore
- We’re retired military and Columbus is our home. So when we returned to Columbus in 2020, our furbabies needed a local vet, Animal Care Clinic was recommended and we’ve been very blessed and pleased ever since. Dr. Carroll and staff have always been incredibly attentive and kind to our furbabies needs and to us as parents. Very accommodating. Recently we had a devastating situation, and had to make a painful decision with one of our furbabies. Dr. Carroll and staff were supportive and sensitive with concern for situation. Thank Dr. Carroll and staff 🫶🏼 June 26 · Cheree Wilson
- I discovered this clinic during an emergency situation when I received my dog without any vaccinations. They immediately attended to my needs, but I was put off by their unprofessional demeanor from the start. However, I needed their services. The final incident that led to my frustration occurred when I attempted to obtain my dog's medical records. During my initial visit, their system was down, and they had failed to properly document her vaccinations, despite her having received two shots. On my second attempt, I called and provided my email address for them to send me a copy, but they neglected to do so. When I revisited the office to obtain the records in person, I encountered difficulties with inquiring about prices and reminding them of their failure to email the records. Eventually, they provided the records, but I forgot to ask a question and returned to find the staff engaging in negative discussions about me. This behavior was further evidenced when my friend overheard their comments while retrieving my keys, which I had accidentally left behind. May 07 · Sthela Noothername
