★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- This place was amazing to us yesterday. We brought our dog in for a snake bite yesterday morning and they did everything possible to help him. We dealt with both vets and they were both incredible. They explained everything to us in detail and made sure to answer any and all of our questions. They gave us our documents when we picked up our dog last night and they gave us everything on paper with time stamps in detail. I couldn’t not have asked for a better experience for this type is situation. You always hear how terrible emergency vets are and I would go back to this place specifically for the staff and facility. They are also extremely reasonably priced for an emergency vet. - Truly some of the kindest most compassionate staff I have ever dealt with. They are wonderful. They explain every detail, your options, and most of all they consider your feeling's and your pet. Sometimes you have to make hard decisions. I am so thankful to have had them there for me. Thank you so much for being there for me. August 22 · Pam Horne
- My dog, Nola, had surgery at our usual vet on the 27th where a biopsy was performed on her face and a second lump was removed from her side. She managed to open the wound on her face as well as rip the stitches out of her side. The Emergency vet was so quick to help! I showed up before 10AM and the second I pulled in, they came out and got us all checked in. They were so wonderful and gentle with her. They explained the best methods of care in great detail and had no problems answering any extra questions I had. I absolutely recommend them for any emergency care. They were able to clean her face and staple her side. March 31 · Elle Danielle
- We had a cat emergency on a Sunday, Rivertown responded quickly and effectively. We were told all costs prior to treatment above the initial fee, and those fees were fair. We were advised on how to care for our cats wound and what to look out for. Treatment notes were forwarded to our normal vet for follow up.The staff were wonderful, and the establishment was clean and tidy. We couldn’t ask for a better emergency visit. June 29 · Emily
- So Grateful for Rivertown Veterinary EmergencyOn July 13, my Mom and I had to take my kitty, Gracie, to Rivertown Veterinary Emergency due to vomiting and dehydration. She had recently been diagnosed with kidney disease, so I was very worried. From the moment we arrived, I was impressed by how kind and organized the staff was.We waited in the car until it was our turn. Two more severe cases were treated ahead of us, and they explained that they have to triage cases. We completely understood. Inside, a vet tech took down all the necessary information and explained the expected wait time with such compassion and professionalism. About 45 minutes later, Dr. Kees treated Gracie. Her knowledge and thoroughness were remarkable, and she provided a detailed explanation of the necessary treatments. We were incredibly impressed. While the high cost was typical of other emergency services, this one was incredibly nice and clean and had such caring staff. They took excellent care of Gracie, and I was so grateful that Dr. Kees took the time to explain everything in detail. I greatly appreciated all she did. Their compassion and thoroughness was far beyond what I had expected. When I later told my regular vet about our experience, she agreed that Rivertown Veterinary Emergency is great. I am extremely grateful for their excellent service and highly recommend them. Gracie and I felt genuinely cared for, and I am very thankful for their kindness and professionalism.
