Another family praised the cardiology department, specifically Dr. Goodwin, for his wonderful care and knowledge in helping them navigate a challenging diagnosis for their dog. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Very thankful for the quick action of the care team here. I took my boy Barney here 6 weeks ago because he was acting out of character. Dr. Weisberg was beyond kind and compassionate delivering the news no one wants to hear. Barney was diagnosed with pericardial effusion. He referred us to the hunt valley ER that same night for further testing and to drain the fluid in his heart. Without Dr. Weinberg’s skilled expertise and fast diagnosis, we would have lost our boy that night. Because of the prompt care received, we were able to have 5 more beautiful days with Barney doing all of his favorite things. It’s never enough time, but I’m so thankful for the quick action and kindness from the entire care team here that granted us some more time with him. Everyone (vet techs, intake staff etc.) was so kind, compassionate and helpful during one of the most distressing nights of my life.
August 05 · MaryWe started seeing Dr. Goodwin, the cardiologist, last November when our dog was diagnosed with mitral valve disease. He and his staff are wonderful! Our recent follow up appointment went great. We are grateful to have such a knowledgeable and caring doctor and supportive staff as we navigate this situation with our beloved dog. A shout out to the desk staff too!!! They helped us get the billing straightened out so that it was in the correct format for the insurance company we have ... and did it with a smile. Thanks to all!
August 15 · Heidi MarstonI called around for emergency care for my 4 year old American Bully who injured his tooth and gums. We explained what happened and they asked for details to guide us in the right direction and explained what services they can provide and resources they have for follow up care. They were very understanding, kind and helpful, so were the other clients there with the pets. The service went well they treated him and explained the cause and what should take place next. I am very happy with their services and would recommend anyone to them for emergency care.
August 16 · Catrice HarrisDr. Joshua L. Weisberg and staff were absolutely wonderful with my boy after he broke a nail and needed emergency care on a Sunday. Dr. Weisberg was so comforting and caring. The technician (wish I could remember her name!) was also so kind with us. You never know how even vets will respond to an injured pit bull (he’s an American Staffordshire Terrier) but they saw his gentleness and why my entire family and friends love and adore him. Harrison is recovering after such perfect care. I pray not to see these people soon but York Pa has a great ER vet clinic!
April 01 · Devin O'ConnorWe had a pup born on a Friday evening in pretty rough shape. She was born with some of her organs outside her body and some other lower deformities. After researching that a pup can survive for some hours after birth in this condition we decided to take her to get euthanasia so she wouldn’t have to suffer for some unknown hours. I called here for more information on euthanasia and they were clear with their prices and different options over the phone which was very appreciated. We came around 9pm and when we brought her in we were taken back right away and got to say our goodbyes and let them know when we were ready. Everything was very quick which we appreciated. Everyone we talked to was very nice. They also gave us her paw prints.❤️
