★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1They are amazing! My 5 month old chiweenie broke her leg while we were on vacation and they took us right away that day. They were able to coordinate emergency surgery for her with an orthopedic specialist the same day. I don’t think that we could’ve gotten the same care Jacksonville, where we live, and we are eternally grateful for their willingness to get her in immediately and take care of her. Vet was amazingly kind and compassionate and very helpful.
June 08 · Tracy HarrellInitially our experience was wonderful with Dr. Kincannon. This month when our dog’s monthly prescriptions were called in, Nicole, a pharmacy tech, sent a text to me stating that the medication Dr. Kincannon had put my dog on for the last 7 months was not for long term use, despite the fact that the chart said Dr. Kincannon approved it for long term use. When the prescription was filled on 6/3/25, the instructions said that the quantity would be limited because my dog takes Lasix. My dog has never taken Lasix. I texted Nicole to ask for clarification and to speak with Dr. Kincannon and was not given a response. Several messages were left on the voicemail with no response. Today, I took the dog in for grooming. He was given anxiety medication as requested 1 hour before taking him to the clinic. He was so anxious that they were unable to fully bathe him or cut his nails. When I went to pick him up, I was taken back to the grooming room to get him out of the kennel as no staff member wanted to do so. I was told at that point that Dr. Kincannon was out until August, a fact not ever mentioned in any other conversation with any employee of the clinic. I was then called by Kelley (who rudely refused to provide her last name) who stated that they can’t control what the pharmacy put on the label. A pharmacy does not randomly put dosing instructions on prescriptions. I reiterated numerous times that my dog has never been on Lasix and reminded her of the issues with grooming today. She told me I would have to pay for a telehealth with another vet in order to get it straightened out. She then hung up on me.The customer service is appalling. The care is subpar. The clinic clearly cannot keep track of the medications they prescribe or their charting. Instead of providing a resolution, they opted to attempt to force me to pay for a telehealth visit in order to correct their mistake.Update: Clinic called this morning with resolution. Changed rating from 1 star to 4 stars.
June 06 · Layne GillespieDoctor Cornman and Doctor G. Are amazing. They helped me through a tough time with our Selah. I thank you so very much for being the best doctors she could have ever had. Thank you for loving her.
August 20 · laura montalvoWe had an amazing experience with Animal Hospital of Signal Mountain. We brought our dog in after being told by our regular vet and another vet that per his X-rays, an obstruction was likely and required surgery. The team at AHSM were so thorough, understanding, and caring. They saved us from an unnecessary surgery (& very large expense). We even went back for a second visit, concerned that things were not getting better and they ensured us they thought he was going to be okay! Sure enough, our guy is on the mend and quickly returning back to his normal self. Forever grateful for those at AHSM. Despite a 35 minute drive and much closer options, we will be bringing our dogs here from here on out!
March 23 · Jennifer MoneyNot only do these doctors take care of my dogs, but the grooming team keeps them squeaky clean! I have 2 senior dogs that need a lot of care, this team has always been amazing, no matter what I need!
