Animal Medical Center of Frederick County Reviews
Highly recommend this place! The most caring staff I have ever encountered! My cat Mocha was not doing well, they got me in that day and after test and discussions the heartbreaking decision was made to let my Mocha cross the rainbow bridge! The way the staff treated Mocha and I will remain in my heart forever! Mocha’s life was not a very good one until I adopted her and gave her protection, comfort, love and food daily!! Mocha blessed my life for 3 years and she will always be with me! She still has her room as she sits on her shelf and I’m sure still not liking her dog brother. I will be taking my pup there now as well!Thank you!!!
Jun 28, 2025 · Jackie FunkI always feel safe trusting my dogs to these folks. Awesome facility; great staff! Big thanks to Dr. Bruce for identifying and knocking out Melkor's ear infection during a routine exam last week!
Jun 28, 2022 · Jason McCowanMy cat went missing, posted all over Facebook looking for him. Someone eventually messaged me saying he got hit by a car, he was paralyzed from the waist down and they took him here and they put him down. They say he didn’t have a chip but I have the paperwork that he was chipped. They said they made a Facebook post, nowhere on Facebook. They didn’t even attempt to find his owners, they euthanized him because they assumed he was a stray. He was a family cat for 8+ years, who died alone because they didn’t attempt to find his owners.
May 16, 2025 · Mackenzie ViandsWe have had multiple occasions over the years that have required the use of their services. (As any good pet owner has had to do.)From wellness visits, to surgeries, to emergency care and even the need to have a beloved pet of 23 yrs. put to sleep. We have always found the staff to be super friendly, caring, compassionate and knowledgeable! We appreciate and approve of the services of this business so much that even though we have moved away from Stephen's City, we are willing to travel their for care for our pets.
May 10, 2018 · James BorrorMy daughter's dog decided he liked toddler socks and green black walnuts. Both bad for the digestive tract and intestines, causing a blockage. I took him to this animal vet and by x-rays they were able to give us a great plan that was not rushing into surgery. The next day the dog went back to the vet and was clear. Brownie points for me so I'm taking my own dog to them tomorrow for a growth.
