Pet Neuter Clinic specializes in offering focused and high-quality surgical services dedicated to spaying and neutering, which are crucial for pet health and population control. Our streamlined approach ensures efficient and safe procedures with excellent recovery outcomes.
- Canine Spay (Female Dog Sterilization): This common surgical procedure involves the removal of the ovaries and uterus, preventing unwanted pregnancies and reducing the risk of various health issues, including mammary tumors and uterine infections.
- Canine Neuter (Male Dog Sterilization): This procedure involves the removal of the testicles, preventing reproduction, reducing aggressive behaviors, and eliminating the risk of certain reproductive organ diseases.
- Feline Spay (Female Cat Sterilization): Similar to canine spays, this procedure for female cats prevents heat cycles, unwanted litters, and lowers the risk of reproductive system cancers. Our clinic notably utilizes advanced techniques such as internal stitching and surgical glue for smoother recovery.
- Feline Neuter (Male Cat Sterilization): This procedure for male cats involves the removal of the testicles, preventing reproduction, reducing spraying and roaming behaviors, and minimizing the risk of testicular tumors.
- Pre-Surgical Examination: Every pet undergoes a thorough physical examination prior to surgery to assess their overall health and ensure they are good candidates for anesthesia and the procedure.
- Anesthesia Monitoring: During surgery, pets are carefully monitored by trained staff using state-of-the-art equipment to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Pain Management: Comprehensive pain management protocols are implemented before, during, and after surgery to minimize discomfort and promote a smooth recovery.
- Post-Operative Care Instructions: Clients receive clear and detailed instructions for at-home care following the procedure to ensure optimal healing and recovery for their pet.

Pet Neuter Clinic Reviews
I had such a great experience with this clinic! Even though they were in the middle of a transition to new ownership, everything was still incredibly organized, the staff was polite, and the level of care was top-notch. I brought my cat in for a spay, and the process was smooth from start to finish. It was such a pleasure that I decided to move forward with the appointment despite the changes. Huge congratulations to Dr. Moffet on her new endeavor, wishing her all the success in this next chapter! 🐾💛
Jun 06, 2025 · Brianee TolentinoI got 6 cats neutered/spayed - 3 boys first visit, 3 girls the second visit. All of my cats recovered quite nicely. I was especially impressed with how well they took care of my girl cats. They did internal stitching instead of external plus surgical glue. I find the recovery was much smoother for these girl cats compared to other girl cats I had gotten fixed when they had external stitching.I feel they truly cared about my pets. I would highly recommend them! Definitely worth the price. I will be making an appointment with them in March to get 1 more cat neutered.
Oct 12, 2024 · Alyssa RAs a 501(c)(3) rescue, we have used Petneuter.org for many years, for the spay and neuter of hundreds of cats. They are excellent! Dr. Maben and Vet Tech Ms. Phillips are very skilled and caring. I am sorry to see the negative review about the practice. Unfortunately, the post operative treatment once the kitty comes home is also critical to the success of the spay. We totally trust the staff for the expertise and care they offer during the surgical process. They limit the number of animals, offer superior skills, at a low cost allowing us to save more animals. We at times would go to a clinic in Hagerstown that was closer but the quality of service is so much better here at Petneuter.org. It is worth going the distance. Thank you Petneuter.org for helping us give our adoptable cats and kittens a great start.
Jan 23, 2025 · Tess HGreat service, but sad to see Doctor leave end of March 2025. She is retiring, and we will miss her service very much.
Mar 04, 2025 · Diane ShoreThey are going through your animal with dirty equipment, causing infections to kill your animal. Don't trust this place. You will then have to go to the hospital for more money for your fur baby, to try to save their life. DID MORE HARM TO HER THEN HELPING!! YALL PUT HER ON HER DEARH BED AN I HAD TO FIGHT TO KEEP HER ALIVE!
