Ann Road Animal Hospital is characterized by several features, some of which are highlighted positively by customers, while others are points of concern raised in reviews:
- Broad Range of Services: The hospital provides an extensive list of services, from routine wellness and vaccinations to advanced diagnostics, surgery, boarding, and grooming, aiming to be a one-stop shop for pet care needs. Their ability to treat exotic pets alongside cats and dogs is a notable highlight.
- Compassionate Staff (Mixed Reviews): Some reviews praise the "love and respect for the whole staff," with customers expressing deep appreciation for their long-term care of multiple pets. This suggests that many clients experience genuine care and concern from the team.
- Client-Focused Approach (Positive Instances): There are instances where the staff "went above and beyond" to ensure a pet was cared for and owners were comfortable, including offering drinks and providing full information without pushing unnecessary tests. The flexibility for "drop by" appointments also indicates client accommodation.
- Financial Policies (Potential Concern): One deeply negative review highlights a severe issue with pre-payment and refund policies, leading to significant distress for the client. This suggests potential inconsistencies or areas for improvement in financial transparency and handling sensitive situations.
- Overnight Care Limitations (Major Concern): A crucial point raised by a reviewer is that despite being named an "animal hospital," there are no vets on premises overnight, only technicians. The "vet on call" has no assurance of immediate arrival, which could lead to "critical moments for care to not be given." This is a significant consideration for pet owners expecting 24/7 immediate veterinary supervision for overnight stays or emergencies outside of business hours. Their website states that for emergencies outside of operating hours, they recommend contacting a different 24/7 emergency and critical care center.
- Cremation Service Issues (Major Concern): The same negative review details a distressing experience with cremation services, where the client had to directly contact the crematorium to confirm their pet's remains and prevent them from being returned to the clinic due to billing disputes. This points to potential severe issues in managing end-of-life services and client communication during a sensitive time.
For appointments or inquiries during their operating hours, you can reach Ann Road Animal Hospital at:

- Phone: (702) 579-9111
- Mobile Phone: +1 702-579-9111
Their typical operating hours are Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday to Sunday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. For after-hours emergencies, their website recommends contacting Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care at (702) 262-7070.
For residents of North Las Vegas, Nevada, Ann Road Animal Hospital offers a comprehensive range of veterinary services that might appeal to those seeking a single facility for general pet care, including wellness exams, vaccinations, diagnostics, and a variety of surgeries. Their ability to cater to both common domestic pets and a range of exotic animals is a distinct advantage for local pet owners with diverse companions. The positive testimonials highlight instances of compassionate staff and accommodating service for routine visits, suggesting a caring environment for many clients and their "fur babies."
However, it is crucial for locals to be fully aware of the limitations regarding emergency and overnight care, as the hospital does not have veterinarians on-site 24/7, directing critical after-hours cases to an external emergency center. Additionally, concerns raised in a detailed negative review regarding financial practices, particularly pre-payment, refunds, and the handling of cremation services, are significant and warrant careful consideration by prospective clients. While some individuals have experienced positive, long-term relationships with the hospital, others have encountered deeply distressing situations. Therefore, while Ann Road Animal Hospital can be a suitable option for routine and scheduled veterinary care for many in North Las Vegas, it is recommended that potential clients thoroughly understand their policies, especially for emergency situations and end-of-life services, to ensure alignment with their specific expectations and needs for their beloved pets.

Ann Road Animal Hospital Reviews
Firstly, I don't know what classifies as an animal hospital, but that would make me tend to believe that they are there for 24 hour care. This is not the case. When they close in the evening, there are no vets on the premises, only technicians. If there's an emergency in the middle of the night, the vet 'on call' would get contacted, with no assurance that they'll come or when they will be there. This causes critical moments for care to not be given. Limited care from the techician, but not full on care immediately.I lost two of my precious dogs in a matter of just a couple of months, and coincidentally, even though I've seen many vets come and go from there, it was the same vet that handled both cases. They went in the morning with some breathing difficulties, and in less than 24 hours (way less than that) were dead.I had prepaid 50 - 100% on their care before they were even admitted. I was told that I would be given a partial refund since the fees I paid where astronomical for the small amount of care they got. I went rounds with them for over a week where they tried to tell me that the money that they owed me, was a portion that I still needed to pay. I had also paid for my dogs cremation, and was worried they wouldn't handle that until the bill was finally settled. I asked where my dog was... no idea. I had to call the crematorium myself, and I picked her remains up there. They normally drop the remains back to the vet to be picked up, but I forbid them to do so. I cant begin to tell anyone how incredibly devastating this has been. I won't return there ever again.
May 14, 2025 · Barbara CarlisleI have nothing but love and respect for the whole staff. You guys have been there from day one for both Albert and Lacey, my Cocker Spaniels, and my Pittie, Dolly. You have also been there for my old buddy, Puppy, throughout his time with us. I truly appreciate you all. I would post more pictures but I don’t have that kind of time. Haha
Jun 02, 2025 · Vaughn MojadoHorrible experience. I cannot explain how upset I am. We’ve always taken our dogs here and have never had a issue. I called and got quoted $100 for one of my dogs and $164 for my two smaller dogs in total. I came to pick them up and they charged me $134 and $235 for my other two dogs. I was not told that I would be charged for cutting their nails. When I picked my dogs up they looked the same. Their nails are still long. They smell THE SAME. For the price I paid the results are UNACCEPTABLE.
Feb 23, 2025 · Kaylee PerezWe had to put our sweet baby down due to heart problems. Dr. Bogan and her staff made Neeko's transition pain-free and peaceful. Dr. Bogan was so compassionate and understanding during our difficult time. We'd like to thank Dr. Bogan and Ann Hospital staff for everything.
Jun 13, 2025 · CeCe ChavezI really like this veterinary clinic. I took my dog for a nail trim and anal glands . We were in and out in 20 minutes. No hidden charges. $32 for both services.
