★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We brought our puppy, Bear, home about 6 months ago, and from day one, Dr. Shabib has been nothing short of amazing. Bear has had a few unexpected health issues, and each time, Dr. Shabib handled everything with compassion, clarity, and incredible professionalism. Most recently, Bear was neutered at Army Trail Animal Hospital, and the whole process went flawlessly. He healed quickly, and we felt completely at ease knowing he was in the best hands. What really sets Dr. Shabib apart is how available and responsive he is—he always takes the time to answer our questions, offer guidance, and check in on Bear’s progress. It never feels rushed, and he genuinely cares. I highly recommend!!
August 13 · Alessandro FiducciaWe are so thankful for Dr. Shabib and the staff at Army Trail Animal Clinic. Not only has he always provided excellent, thoughtful care for our dogs, but he showed an incredible amount of compassion and kindness during two of our most difficult moments. We had to say goodbye to two of our senior dogs—one in February and another one last Saturday. Dr. Shabib was patient, gentle, and supportive throughout the entire process. He treated our dogs with dignity and helped us feel comforted in such a heartbreaking time. He takes the time to truly listen, explain things, and we never ever feel rushed. We will never forget the empathy and care he showed us, Milo, and Chip!We are happy to have found a veterinarian who we can continue to trust with our other dog Baron! We couldn’t ask for a better vet and highly recommend Dr. Shabib and Army Trail Animal Clinic to anyone who wants their pets cared for like family! Thank you for everything!
August 24 · Anna VairoI brought our cat Kitty to have his nails trimmed this past Saturday at 12:30 pm appointment. After they took Kitty in the back to give him a 3 year vaccination shot and nail trim the doctor came back after 30+ minutes and told me they had to give him oxygen and asked if he was an open mouth breather. I got nervous and wasn’t sure if he was but I believe he never was. I must have recalled this behavior when he was attacked by a pit bull a few years ago. The doctor left and more time passed before Kitty was brought back into the room. I could see he was in distress with frantic open mouth breathing and silica dripping from his mouth and the nurse told me that I should consider bringing him in for blood work and X-ray of the heart. They were closing so I paid and left. Within 8 minutes of coming home Kittys health remained the same gasping for air and he died. This was total neglect by this animal facility in my opinion as they should have NEVER released him to me in his distressed condition. I don’t know what happened when Kitty was in the back office but I cannot trust this facility to care for my pets again the very least they should do is refund my 200+ dollars I paid that day. I will be searching for a new veterinarian to care for my family pets.
July 14 · Stephen DubickiI went in yesterday for my 1st Vet appointment ever. I'm fostering my 1st puppy and my agency works with this Animal Hospital. The front staff and the Vet Tech were wonderful. However, I am removing 2 stars for the following:1. Wait times. I arrived for the appointment on time with no other patients in the waiting room. My foster puppy and I were placed in am exam room to wait nearly 20 minutes.2. The Vet, I think Dr.Andra, I'm not really sure she didn't bother to introduce herself, shake my hand, greet me or see if I had any questions or concerns. Very cold persona. Then she began to berate me in a condescending attitude for the diet I put my foster puppy on. ("Well if you don't have a Master's Degree in dog nutrition you should use brands that have actual research behind them because you don't know their specific vitamins, nutrients, and minerals"). I do actually have a Master's Degree lol. she basically soured the rest of the experience with her attitude.
April 23 · Lauren SchmidtI needed emergency vet visit for my exotic pet - a 3 year old rat, and this was the only place around that was kind enough to make time for her. Unfortunately we had to euthanize her and it was painful for me, but the staff was so supportive and sympathetic and let me spend time with my baby and treated her very delicately. I honestly would recommend this place in a heartbeat just because of the compassionate staff. Thank you for being there for us.
