Choosing Banfield Pet Hospital is a decision that many Texas pet owners consider for its focus on preventative care and its accessible services. The reviews offer a mixed but insightful picture of what to expect. A positive review highlights the excellent customer service from the front desk staff, with one client giving a "HUGE Shout out to Cal," and praising Dr. Stoudt for being "very informative about what was going on" with their dogs. This speaks to the personal, caring, and professional interactions that can be a hallmark of the experience. The clinic's ability to provide great service for both "big ones and small ones" is also a testament to its versatility. However, it's also important to acknowledge a contrasting review which describes a poor experience related to a long wait for test results, difficulty in communication, and a lack of a refund. This highlights a common concern with larger, corporate-run clinics, where communication breakdowns can occur. While the positive review demonstrates the quality of individual staff members and the great care they provide, the negative review points to potential issues with corporate processes. The value of choosing this Banfield location often lies in its convenient services, such as their popular wellness plans that help budget for routine care, and the compassionate staff who make a genuine effort to connect with clients. The combination of comprehensive services and a friendly team makes them a worthy option for pet owners seeking proactive and accessible veterinary care in the Texas community.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I would like to give a HUGE Shout out to Cal, the cool guy at the front desk... Who has an awesome attitude, might I add! Dr. Stoudt was very informative about what was going on with my pups and gave me the attention needed to answer and calm my questions! Great place to take your pups, big ones and small ones!Thank you for your great support and service! 🙏🏾
July 22 · Lo'Shern DiazStay away from this Banfield! Took my money for an expensive test for my cat and 6 weeks later I still have not received her results. Asked for a refund and now I can not get ahold of anyone when I call and no one has called me back. Don’t bother with this location.
March 25 · Christiana PetzoldI just moved with my two dogs to England through the military. My orders dropped so last minute, I was struggling to get everything done in time, along with getting the dogs to potentially fly over with me. I found out Banfield can do animal health certificates. Dr Bond was AMAZING! She did well more than she had to, to get the health certificate perfect and the dogs able to fly. She made multiple calls to the UK airport and others. She even was doing some last minute stuff this morning right before the dogs flew out. We just arrived this morning and the dogs had no issues. It was so great having someone who really cared during the most stressful time of my life.
February 24 · Susan JanksI’m sorry, but this is going to be one of those “if I could give it negative stars I would” reviews!!! First, it took 45 minutes to check my dog in because apparently there’s an issue when you make your pet appointment online. The receptionist must’ve told me three times that I should have called. If your system doesn’t work, that’s not my problem.Despite the fact that my dog was having diarrhea, I was told that the only appointment I could have was a drop off appointment. I dropped her off at 10:15 AM (Appointment was for 9:30 AM). I tried to call after lunch to check on her, but nobody would answer the phone so I actually went to the facility at 2:30 PM. The girl at the front desk kept making up excuses and lies and arguing with me that their system is the best. Funny because I’ve owned dogs for 30 years and have never had any issue with regular vet appointments where you check in, see the vet, check out.Instead of apologizing for the delay, the receptionist had the audacity to tell me I could just go ahead and take my dog home if I wanted to!!!! That’s like someone walking into the ER and the doctorforgetting they were in the exam room and then just saying “oh well, don’t care about your emergency…you can just go home”. WHAT IN THE WORLD? I will never ever ever use this place again. And I will be canceling my wellness plan. I would rather take my dogs to a good old-fashioned vet!
November 22 · Lisa BrinkIf you love your pet do NOT take them there - I have 3 dogs and gone to this location for years and the experience I had with my new puppy I am never going back - the guy at the front is way to busy to go through things and just wants a signature- I said no to the wellness plan to him a couple of times and to the Vet - I know my fault I signed as soon as I did I said that wasn’t for the wellness plan was it and he said yes I said I didn’t want that and he said looks like the signature didn’t go through so we are fine…..that day I decided never to take my dogs there again due to the experience - I paid for a few tests and I know they were not done - my poor dog was shaking when I picked her up and it was the worst experience. I thought that was it I f then two months later I get a bill for the wellness plan I didn’t want - I called the manager they said that they couldn’t do anything and call corporate- I called last week sat on hold for 30 min - pressed 1 for a call back and no call back. Called today and I was on the phone for an hour and 20 min with no resolution- I have to wait for 24 - 48 hours for a call back from someone who might be able to help! I am beyond upset! Banfield has lost me as a customer.
