Banfield Pet Hospital Introduce
For Florida pet owners, ensuring the health and well-being of their furry family members is a top priority. Located conveniently for residents of Brandon and the surrounding Tampa Bay area, this facility offers a wide range of services, from preventative care and routine vaccinations to advanced diagnostics and surgery. As a local, you understand the importance of finding a reliable and professional veterinary partner. Banfield Pet Hospital is part of a larger network, which means they have access to standardized protocols and advanced resources, while still providing personalized care at the local level. The staff is committed to treating your pets with the same love and care you do, making sure every visit is as comfortable as possible.
The concept of a veterinary pharmacy, integrated directly within an animal hospital, is a significant convenience for pet owners. It means you can have your pet examined and, if a prescription is needed, fill it right there on the spot. This eliminates the need for an extra trip to a separate pharmacy, saving you time and ensuring your pet can begin their treatment regimen without delay. This seamless process is part of Banfield's commitment to making pet healthcare as easy and efficient as possible for the busy Floridian family.
However, it is worth noting that some client reviews have raised concerns regarding scheduling and communication. While many clients have had positive experiences with the staff's professionalism and the cleanliness of the hospital, others have expressed frustration over appointment logistics and miscommunication. These experiences, while not universal, are a reminder for pet owners to communicate clearly with staff and confirm all appointment details and expectations ahead of time. It is a part of choosing any service provider, and understanding potential issues can help you prepare for a better overall experience.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Super awesome staff, very clean and our furbabies were very happy when we picked them up ✅😁💪!!
March 11 · Christopher CashMade an in room appointment on their website ahead of time, show up with my cat on my day off in time, and the reception lady tells me the doctor does surgery on this day and they tried calling me at 7am on my day off, only once, to try and tell me that. No follow up call later, no text, no email. They said that I could leave my pet and come back for him but I don’t trust them to be alone with my animal, that’s why I wanted an in room visit. They didn’t move me down for another opening slot today cause “they were already filled up” why is your website booking people at times the doctor can’t be there then? Why no correct follow up? Why not better at accommodating? The next available date they gave me would be on my work day on Thursday! It is Monday right now! Ridiculous, I didn’t wanna believe the bad reviews they have but honestly super valid! I never write reviews but they just waste people’s times. Super unprofessional.
March 24 · Christina BrentnellDr Humphreys the new doctor to this location is so amazing and doesn’t overlook anything or rush an animals care. My three animals have been going to this location and we’re devastated when Dr Olivo left. However, Dr Humphreys has filled her shoes well and is well worth the hour drive. We avoid our local Banfield after a horrific experience involving trauma injuries to the cat. Our dogs and cat now go here and will continue to. Beau Bear is a 130 lb lab that’s over ten but the care he gets as made him near puppy status again with correct diagnosis and treatment that is honest and not based on ego. Please don’t let him go.
June 29 · Danielle GAmazing and the most caring staff!! I can’t say enough good things about this facility. During regular visits to the difficult visits, they took their time to explain everything.Thank you to the staff for taking the time to write our family a letter. We are missing our big man and to get a letter with his nose and paw was much appreciated.
March 16 · Amanda HilarioWent in to get a shot for my girlfriend’s dog. As soon as we walked in her dog started going crazy and causing a ruckus. The staff noticed this and got me to a room quickly. They were very friendly and patient. Would definitely recommend.
