Banfield Pet Hospital Reviews
The front desk team and assistants are friendly and efficient. Love them! The vets, however, leave a lot to be desired. It’s very much a revolving door. There was one who was such an alarmist that most every time we came in for a comprehensive exam, she’d have a reason to refer us to Triangle Emergency Vet. I don’t think she’s moved on or been moved out. There is one now who didn’t check the chart and realize that our dogs were due for their dentals as part of their comprehensives. We didn’t feed them before they went in for that very reason. She called to say she missed that and we’d have to reschedule both dogs for another time. She put a prescription in for one of our dogs, but there was no paperwork on that dog’s visit in the bag, so we didn’t know what it was for. Called back and was told she was out and would return my call when she came back to work. That was two weeks ago. There are better veterinary hospitals in the area. Seek them out.
Jul 03, 2025 · Brett RodgersDr. Zamborsky and Kristina were so kind, along with all of the staff when we had to put our dog down. They gave us all the time that we needed, even though we ran past the time they were open. The staff later wrote us a condolence card for our loss. By far, the best customer service we have ever had. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Mar 30, 2025 · Lyndon ShaveCancelling Banfield forever for all three of our pets after the experience we had today. Our cat unfortunately ate some string and has been throwing up. It's been a lot to deal with this morning, my husband took work off and we have been running around. I ended up at the wrong PetSmart and when I called they let us come in anyways. Whoever is at the front desk today needs a raise. He was sooooo nice and understanding 10/10However. They said they were going to do an x-ray and after thinking about it we questioned if a cotton string would even show up on an x-ray. I wasn't there but my husband was. Basically we decided an ultrasound might be better but they don't do ultrasounds so he took our cat to an emergency vet who can do both if needed. They had him pay $98 because he signed something at the front saying there would be an emergency fee even though we were taking her somewhere else. So we can't legally argue because they have a signature. I get it. I get that you should read everything you sign and that's our fault but anyone who has signed anything (especially when there's an emergency) knows they aren't reading every detail and you rely on the staff to educate you on the details. He called me IMMEDIATELY after he checked her in and described the fees to me which included the exam and x-ray and whatever else. Nothing about a $98 fee just to have the appointment slot ?Apparently the vet stopped a surgery to triage our cat who is literally in ZERO distress currently. And I don't even understand why an entire surgery was stopped??? Seems stupid. Regardless. Because the vet did this and "triaged" our cat we have to pay $98 just because they took her to the back. Mind you he took her to another vet within 8 minutes of getting to Banfield. ? Feels like we were taken advantage of in a difficult time. We are just concerned about our baby and are trying to do the right thing for her and we just wasted a hundred dollars because that's what Banfield cares about. 💰💰💰But what really pushed me and my husband over the edge was the fact that the vet tech came out and clapped in his face while she was explaining things. He was clearly upset about having to pay this ridiculous fee when they did nothing for our cat and we just wanted care elsewhere. She clapped at him. So not only did we pay for nothing but we were disrespected by staff. Disgusting behavior. Literally disgusting. The only good thing about this place was the guy at the front desk. My husband is now at an emergency vet and it's been 1000000x better of an experience and he's been there for like 10 minutes. It's already cheaper as well.We will absolutely be cancelling our Banfield forever for all of our pets. Shameful. I've used Banfield for 10 years. It's unfortunate.
Apr 17, 2025 · Aspen ScottEvery Vet we have seen there have had their best interest of my dogs in heart. We own several Huskies and they’re not an easy breed, but all of the staff know that and all of our experiences have been 100%. Definitely recommend this office!!
May 02, 2024 · Melinda CarverOur wiener dog was terrified at the groomers, while they attempted to give her a pedicure. Unfortunately, after a really good try, they couldn’t complete the service and suggested to go over to the clinic. Tremaine came out, and our dog practically skipped away with him, tail wagging! The pedicure took no time, and our sweet dog couldn’t have been happier! Tremaine had a wonderful energy to him, that put our dog at ease instantly. Please ask for him at your next visit! I’m still talking about the experience!
