★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We live in Springfield, Oregon. There is a banfield fifteen minutes from home. However, we choose to travel a 1/2 an hour to the South eugene Banfield on Willamette. This is because all of the staff are extra super wonderful there. My dog Harley Sue loves all of them so much, including the doctor that did surgery on her. This brings joy and love to my heart. Thank you, Banfield team, south Eugene!!! For making my baby feel comfortable, calm, well taken care of and loved.❤️💛❤️
August 20 · Tangi HayesI am very pleased with the services. I was seen quickly and given detailed information on how to care for my Missy. She is on bed rest for awhile but she will be okay thanks to the staff at Banfield South Eugene
February 03 · Tracie Jo EoffThis Banfield location is AWESOME with every level of staff.Today I had an issue for my dog which needed immediate attention...specifically I started a new job which made me realize I needed to get him some daycare options.Unfortunately my Bordetella vaccination had expired and no professional dog daycare business would take my dog without him having updated vaccinations. So I took my dog there and hoped.for the best. THANKFULLY KELCE was working at the desk and as she has helped me before... despite it being "surgery day" and my having no scheduled appointment...after talking with her manager, she was able to get me in for the 10-15 minutes I needed.I told her I appreciate her abilities to find solutions instead of finding reasons to say no.Then Dr. Schmidt and Amanda went through all the proper steps and checkpoints before administering the Bordetella vaccine🙏Finally, Superstar Kelce provided me copies of the paperwork showing all my dog's vaccinations as being updated.🙏Last of all...my Optimum Wellness Plan proved its value AGAIN...the office visit and vaccine were all covered so a $0 bill🙏 In this case it was the equivalent more than my monthy premium.THANK YOU BANFIELD HOSPITAL AT 29TH AND WILLAMETTE! You rock!
June 24 · Dave KenslerThis location is AMAZING! My pups doctor is literally the best woman that's ever walked this planet. She sits on the floor with him and plays with him during our appointments. Rocky loves going to the vet because of her. The front desk staff are so nice too! With countless issues with the Chad Dr. Location, I'm so happy to make the much longer drive to this Banfield!
January 24 · ChristinaI scheduled my cat Boop for a dental cleaning/X-rays/bloodwork and surgery if indicated. The first time I took her for this appointment I was told she became fractious after blood draw and they asked me to bring her back in a few days later as they couldn't place an IV catheter that day due to her behavior.Three days later I took her back as requested. I was told I would be called after the X-rays to discuss pricing of the surgery and give permission or decline the surgery. No one ever called me. I had to call them. They then told me she wouldn't be having the surgery at all and that they had already pulled her out of anesthesia (at 11 am is when I was told this when I called).I was told they would call before pulling her out from anesthesia so I could say yes or no to the surgery that, as it turns out, WAS recommended for her. While I was on the phone with them after I called them, they asked me to come pick her up close to 2:30 and that I would meet with the vet to discuss what was going on.I arrived at 3:00 due to work. When I got there is when they pulled the IV catheter. I only know because the tech brought Boop to me at 3:15PM and told me they had just pulled it so I should leave the bandage on for a while so blood loss doesn't occur. I asked why they never called for the surgery and was told they hadn't "double booked" so that surgery could actually take place. I also asked why the vet needed to speak with me and the tech told me there wasn't a need and that I would just need to get her on the schedule for one tooth extraction (more extractions are indicated on the paperwork) and that for just one tooth it would be about $1000 because it's a double root tooth.Additionally, I called a few days later and I left a message to speake with the clinic manager. The person I spoke with was very understanding and also concerned with my experience and the treatment of Boop. It's been two weeks since I put that request in, and I've still had no call from the clinic manager.I am extremely disappointed and am not planning on returning. I bought the optimum wellness plan specifically so I could make sure Boop's dental issues can be more easily kept up with on my part as she has juvenile gingivitis. This is my first experience with Banfield and I think it will be my last. I can not state enough how completely and utterly disappointing and unprofessional my experience was overall.
