While the specific availability of parking isn't detailed, clinics on main roads often have designated parking areas for client convenience. Ease of access is an important factor for pet owners, especially when bringing an anxious or unwell animal for an appointment. The central location in Dayton contributes to its role as a local option for veterinary services, serving the diverse needs of Ohio pet owners in the area.
- General Veterinary Examinations: Routine check-ups to assess your pet's overall health and identify any potential issues.
- Medical Consultations: Addressing specific health concerns and diagnosing various illnesses and conditions.
- Basic Treatments: Providing medical treatments as needed based on diagnoses.
- Prescription Services: Dispensing necessary medications for your pet's treatment plan.
- Surgical Procedures: While specific details are not provided, it can be inferred that standard veterinary surgical procedures are likely offered, as indicated by a customer's mention of a "pre surgery checklist" for a cat.
- Care for Common Pet Ailments: Addressing prevalent health issues such as polyps on gums, as mentioned in a customer review.
- Caring Approach: Customers have noted a compassionate attitude from the staff, with one review stating, "They did a great job with my kitty, and they're very caring." This suggests a focus on the well-being and comfort of the animals.
- Reasonable Pricing for Some Services: One positive highlight is the perceived affordability of certain services, as a customer mentioned, "The prices are very reasonable." This could be a significant factor for Ohio pet owners budgeting for veterinary care.
However, it is important for prospective clients to be aware of some areas highlighted in customer feedback:
- Communication Concerns: A notable recurring concern from a customer revolves around communication, specifically the inability "to talk to your Vet" directly and challenges in obtaining a copy of a "pre surgery checklist." This suggests a potential area where communication processes could be improved to better inform pet owners.
- Wait Times: One customer mentioned, "The only down side was I did wait a while," indicating that wait times might occasionally be a factor.
- Pricing Discrepancies on Specific Procedures: While some services are considered reasonable, a detailed review highlighted a significant price difference for a specific recurring service (cat gum polyps), where another vet offered the "same service plus a test" for considerably less ($272.00 versus over $400.00). This suggests that it may be beneficial for pet owners to inquire about costs for specific recurring or complex procedures.
- Questions about Community Engagement: A customer specifically inquired if the practice "work with any TNVR groups," indicating an interest from the community in the clinic's involvement with broader animal welfare initiatives.
- Parking Lot Observation: An observation was made about Dr. Bahn's parking lot being "usually empty," which might lead to questions about client volume or operational hours, although this could be subjective or situational.

They did a great job with my kitty, and they're very caring. The prices are very reasonable. The only down side was I did wait a while, but for all I know they were working on stuff for my cat, so that may be unfair.
Oct 05, 2017 · Tori GegelFor the most part I think they do adequate service for your pets. I don't know if they work with any TNVR groups, that would be important to me. But what does confound me is why you never get the chance to talk to your Vet. Why?I asked for a simple copy of a pre surgery checklist, I'm not a Vet but the questions that you get from a Vet Assistant on the pre surgery checklist. Do you want this, what about this, and that, do you want any of the following for YOUR ANIMAL. If I knew all of these things I would be a Vet Assistant.Did I ever get a copy? Nope? Got copies of every bill I had paid previously, but never what I asked for. Ok one last that, my cat had polyps on her gums, this bill with nothing else was always over $400.00 dollars. I have since found another Vet and for the same service plus a test it came to $272.00 and I would be happy to show you the bill. Look for Dr. Kramer at Northgate. It's worth it.Why is Dr. Bahn's parking lot usually empty?
Oct 02, 2014 · Doc HollidayGreat place, we take our cat here - we don't even need to tell them our name, just the name of the cat and they know what's going on and what your calling about. Can't speak highly enough of this group. Prices are reasonable.
