★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’m giving this review because I think people should know about this place even though it’s NEW they really done me wrong. I took my Yorky over there on a Friday evening. I didn’t know what was wrong with him. He was in pain and so they said they were gonna keep him. They thought he had stones and they kept him Friday night Saturday night and Sunday and I picked them up Monday morning. They called me Sunday said he was doing fine. I could pick him up Monday morning, but I was under the impression but I was gonna pick him up to bring him home , they are an Animal Hospital, right well Monday morning when I went to pick him up, I had to take him over to Hoschton Animal Hospital for surgery that’s the first I heard about him having surgery now their Animal Hospital how come they can have done the surgery plus they give me an outrageous bill so I took him on to Hoschton Animal Hospital they done the surgery on him and their bill wouldn’t even half of what Braselton Animal Hospital charge me so if y’all people love your babies, keep them away from Braselton Animal Hospital. Trust me they don’t know what they’re doing. And they didn’t even diagnose him right he did not have stones. He had a blockage, and I was charged for them removing stones that he did not have.Just saying, take your babies on to Hoschton Animal Hospital bypass Braselton
May 28 · Charlotte PhillipsDr. Rentfrow and her staff take wonderful care of our two dogs. She saved the life of our Brittany when he got very sick as a puppy, and she has taken great care of our GSP Maggie during several surgeries (one for spaying, two for removing growths). Dr. Rentfrow is very practical with her care for my animals, listens to my needs/concerns, and never pressures me to spend more than necessary. I highly recommend Braselton Animal Hospital!
August 03 · Monica ThomasI fell in love with vet when I first got my Doodle! They were so kind, informative, and honest. But I will say, this vet’s office will not even look/ examine your dog in front of you. They require all animals to be taken to their “back room” to be examined. How fishy is that? Just give the vaccines/procedures in front of the owner…. Obviously, certain procedures need to be completed in their “back room” but all minor medical examinations can and should be performed in the private exam room with the owner. Super fishy…. But now it all makes sense. This last visit, today, I asked the technicians just to update my pup’s 2 vaccines- Rabies and Bordetella. I mentioned this on the phone when booking my appointment AND in-person prior to them taking my pup back to room where they complete procedures. However, when I got to the check-out counter, I was charged over $130 for additional vaccines (I did not want them), Heart Worm Medicine (I had just given my pup Heart Worm Medicine less than a month prior), fecal exams, among other procedures, that again were not requested by me. Once I asked the front desk about the charges, they said it was a misunderstanding and gave multiple excuses as to why I was charged for different procedures. I told them I didn’t request these examinations/vaccines and I would not pay for them. Unfortunately, the doctor came out and continued to pressure me to pay over $130 for this one vet visit. I truly tried to not pay them, but after arguing and multiple attempts I just gave up. I highly recommend finding another vet that is not all about money, and cares more about your pet and their health rather than just money in their pocket. So very disappointing.
December 18 · Tyler SmallwoodMy dog was having problems and also needed her shots. The staff was great and caring. Doctor gave us good advice on how to treat her symptoms.
March 17 · John NormanThe tech and Dr were nice. My main issue was their deceptive billing practices. They include some fees on there twice then comment on how it shouldn’t be that expensive and then come back with a lesser (but still$$$) bill to make you feel “better” about spending over $600 for an xray and a visit.
