Animal Emergency Care of Braselton Introduce
For pet owners in Georgia, the thought of a pet emergency is a constant worry. When a sudden illness, injury, or severe reaction occurs after regular veterinary hours, knowing where to go for help is critical. Animal Emergency Care of Braselton is a dedicated emergency veterinarian service that provides a crucial lifeline for families in the Braselton, Hoschton, and surrounding communities. Unlike a standard clinic that operates during regular business hours, this facility is built specifically to handle urgent and life-threatening situations. Their sole focus is on providing immediate, expert care to stabilize and treat pets in crisis. They understand that a pet emergency is a stressful and emotional experience, and their mission is to provide not only top-tier medical care but also compassionate support to pet owners during a difficult time. This commitment to both clinical excellence and human-animal bond is what makes them an indispensable resource for pet parents throughout the state.
Located at 1051 GA-124 in Hoschton, GA 30548, USA, Animal Emergency Care of Braselton is strategically positioned to serve the greater Braselton area and is easily accessible for residents across Jackson County. Its location near a major state highway ensures that pet owners can reach the facility quickly in an urgent situation, where every second can count. The clinic is also designed with accessibility in mind, featuring a wheelchair-accessible car park, a wheelchair-accessible entrance, and a wheelchair-accessible toilet. This thoughtful design ensures that the focus can remain on your pet's health, without the added stress of navigating an inaccessible space. While they are an emergency clinic and do not operate with a traditional appointment schedule, they do employ a triage system to prioritize the most critical patients. This means that a pet with a severe, life-threatening condition will be seen immediately, while a less critical case may have a short wait. This system ensures that every animal receives the level of urgency their condition requires, providing the most effective care for the entire community.
The services offered at Animal Emergency Care of Braselton are specifically tailored to address urgent and emergency medical needs for dogs and cats. While a regular vet clinic handles preventative and routine care, this facility is equipped with the staff and technology to diagnose and treat critical conditions that require immediate attention.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We took our puppy here for a severe allergic reaction, from the phone call, to check in, and speaking with the main vets, I can't give this place a high enough recommendation on how awesome they were! They also really are priced fairly, super transparent on what needs to be done and how much it will cost. We were in and out and everyone we spoke with were wonderful. Again, I cannot recommend these guys enough. Awesome job!
August 27 · Gavin MorrowMy senior poodle started vomiting repeatedly. Not sure why. My regular vet had no appointments available and I knew this was getting worse. We know this ER is very good and is our choice for after hour vet care. Dr Stewart ran necessary tests and treated Harley for a pancreatitis attack. So great in explaining better diet choices for his kidneys too. Answered all of my questions so well. What a knowledgeable doctor! The front desk staff and tech were fantastic and very nice. It is expensive but worth it to me for vet emergencies. We used them previously so they know Harley. My dog is feeling much better now. Appreciate the good care. Thank you so much!
July 09 · KarenThis was the only nearby place open on Memorial Day when I had an unexpected accident with my pup, and I’m so thankful for that. I truly appreciate that you remained open during the holiday, without you, I would’ve been worried all night. Your prices were also more affordable than other clinics I’ve visited, which I’m incredibly grateful for.I had a great experience overall and would definitely recommend your emergency care to others. My only concern was that the kind vet tech who helped carry my Dachshund didn’t seem familiar with the proper way to lift this particular breed. As many Dachshund owners know, their fragile spines require careful handling supporting both the chest and rear. My pup became visibly uncomfortable when he was lifted only by the chest and started squirming.I hope this can be used as a learning opportunity and shared with the staff for future reference. Please be mindful when handling Dachshunds or any breed with known sensitivities. Thank you again for your service and care!
May 27 · Marhisa M.I really appreciated the kindness we received in a horrible situation with our senior dog. Of course there's other emergencies going on but I really appreciated the compassion and time the vet tech gave us. Didn't rush anything and walked us through everything. We also received a card from them shortly after with everyone signing their own message in the card. The care and time spent for us and our sweet girl really means alot to us especially being it was our first visit there but we were treated like it was our regular vet.Good and caring vet offices are hard to find especially being every case is an emergency there. I think so much of everyone in this building. 💗Very clean nice building as well.
August 06 · Kaitlin FinkBrought my dog in the day before the 4th of July. I called before I came because I wanted to make sure they were open. When I called, the person who answered had no compassion or empathy and sounded like she didn’t want to help. When we got there, she even told someone having a medical emergency that they couldn’t see their animal and they needed to drive over an hour away instead. That’s just crazy to me, I would have happily waited longer if it meant an animal would be saved. They told me the wait would be 1 hr. I ended up waiting for about 2.5 hours before going into a room. Vet came in finally, all she wanted to talk about what $$ and didn’t seem to care for the actual well being of my dog. She told me the testing would only take 30 min. Ended up taking 1.5 hr for her to come back and no one updated me during this time. She came back in finally and basically said nothing significant was wrong and I needed to wait for someone to pay and check me out.During this time, others were in the waiting room and had been there for an extended amount of time as well. One person’s dog got bit by a snake. They said after they took their dog back, they hadn’t seen their dog since or gotten an update. A man is walking up front to pickup their pizza and the women asked for an update where he said “oh your dog is the most stable one here” with a smirk on his face and walked off. I wondered why I paid 900$ if her dog was considered the most stable one when I just got told mine was completely fine. Will never go back or use this place again. I do understand this is an ER for animals and wait times can get long but they don’t update you and don’t seem to actually care about your animals. Not a single staff person showed compassion for anyone, whether their animals issues were big or small. Do not recommend, use somewhere else.
