★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Dr. Byers was amazing! Her and the staff took amazing care of my baby and made sure he was loved on and well taken care of - to the point he was comfortably napping while we waited for discharge orders 😂.I saw some reviews about waits - but the rooms and the facility very clearly describe the process for triage and estimated wait times. They were very clear about where we were in the process and what was needed.Dr. Byers even took time to explain some extra details and give insight to some at home things we could do for my soulpup. Didn’t plan on coming to the emergency vet BUT would recommend this place at any chance I get.
August 17 · Jay SmithBest experience I’ve ever had. We had to bring my moms dog in and while they were running test my toddler was being your usual impatient nap deprived toddler and the amazing staff not only came in and put Disney plus on the tv one of the nurses brought in a whole stack of blankets and built her a pallet to lay on while she watched Mickey Mouse. And of course they were great with our sick frenchie and thoroughly explained everything we needed to do to nurse him back to health.
May 03 · Haley ClarkI recently had to make the incredibly difficult decision to say goodbye to my beloved 13-year-old Baby Chance, and I can’t express enough gratitude for the compassionate and professional care we received at Burleson Animal Emergency Hospital with my family and my son on Facetime during the entire process as he is currently in active military duty. From the moment we arrived, the staff immediately made us feel at ease. They knew that we were going through an emotional and heart-wrenching time and handled us with such care, sensitivity, and understanding. The environment was calm and comforting, which was exactly what we needed during such a painful moment. The veterinarian who worked with us was nothing short of amazing! They took the time to explain everything process step by step clearly and explained the outcome before administering along with answering all of our questions. They were incredibly respectful of our emotions and gave us the space we needed to say our final goodbyes. I was deeply touched by how they treated my Baby Chance—gentle, kind, and full of respect for the love and bond we shared. While it was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do, knowing that my baby was in such compassionate hands made the experience just a little bit more bearable. I truly appreciate the level of empathy and professionalism displayed throughout this entire process. I could not have asked for a better team to help us through this difficult time.I felt as if my world stopped. My days were dark without him by my side daily, then I received such a heartfelt card from the entire staff of such kind words-Thinking of You with several customized personal messages from the staff. Then about a week later I received another card telling me they donated a memorial tree in honor of my baby Chance to keep him living on in a Forrest. This has touched my heart tremendously as he was not just a dog, he was my baby, part of my Family for life!If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, know that this team is one that will care for both you and your baby with the utmost kindness. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support and love during this heartbreaking time.
March 27 · Purple LoveThe care and compassion I received from EVERY staff member that I encountered during a very difficult visit having to put my cat down was truly what got me through my appointment. Dr. Wilson was such a blessing during such a difficult time. She was so calm and comforting during the process. I am truly so grateful to the entire staff there during our visit.
August 25 · Hailey CrawfordDO NOT TAKE YOUR BABIES HERE !!!!!If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My fur baby and best friend of 11 years got sick suddenly and I rushed him here because it was the closest animal hospital to me and I wish I had driven to Arlington instead. This place only cares about money and will do anything to rack up a bill instead of treating the patient for symptoms, so much time wasted with unnecessary tests to rack up a bill. I was in school for veterinary medicine and did internships with amazing doctors so I know the difference between unnecessary test and valid tests but trusted these doctors instead of putting my opinion in. I should have took my baby and left when I got the first bad feeling I got about this place maybe he would still be here if I had trusted my own instincts. I hope this place shuts down or burns down, neglecting the care of people’s loved pets for a quick money grab is unacceptable. PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE IF YOU LOVE THEM. I’m out over 2,000 dollars but that doesn’t even compare to the feeling of losing my baby because of this greedy business. If you bring your baby here for an emergency I guarantee you’ll leave with a box of ashes, no answers, and heartbreak. Take my advice and just make the drive somewhere else before you consider stopping here. AGAIN DO NOT COME HERE.Response:Way Jackson was only on 2 heart medications which were administered every day and you failed to mention the unnecessary overpriced x ray that only showed an enlarged heart that was previously detected. You failed to mention that you called to inform us that Way developed blindness and paralysis but in reality you were milking emotions trying to squeeze money out of our family. Jackson was never blind because his eyes were following me the entire time while I moved when we were there to see him one last time. Only After being told how much it would cost for an overnight stay and with no clear plan of treatment to reassure us did we opt for euthanasia, Which the doctor messed up and had to Re-administer as he was still breathing and awake after the first dose of the sedative was administered. When we asked for answers we were told that it could’ve been cancer but you didn’t really know and it just happens.
