Care-Pets Animal Hospital & Wellness Center Reviews
Every experience I’ve had here has been nothing but amazing. The name “care pets” couldn’t be more true because of how caring every single person here is. From getting my geckos checked out, confirming my bearded dragon had passed overnight, quick care for my rescue cat Juliette, to eventually crossing Juliette over the rainbow bridge. Keana especially has been fantastic, from keeping me held together, offering empathy, compassion, all the way to offering a hug and sharing a couple tears on Juliette’s last day with us. I have a Rottweiler Layla whom Care Pets has not met yet, she’s a blood donor so we get free vet care from Jefferson, but I may have to bring her by for a hello before I move out of town. Bottom line is, I’ve never had a better vet experience than I’ve had here at Care Pets. You pay for what you get, and here you get nothing but excellence. Thank you everyone for everything.
Jul 23, 2025 · Jessica CarmichaelDeanna, RVT, CCFT, CCART took wonderful care of my boy today on his first Physical Therapy/Rehab consultation! She did a thorough evaluation with Dr. Gilene’s help and developed a treatment plan including simple home exercises (to fit our busy lifestyle), and weekly water treadmill to help Strider feel comfortable again. Deanna was kind, gentle, and considerate while handling Strider and so patient with my endless questions. Highly recommend not only for illness/injury adjunctive therapy, but also for sport fitness and conditioning. Only wish we had visited sooner! Can’t wait for our next visit!
Apr 03, 2025 · Heather BlakemanRemarkable service. The knowledge and care you show my pets is beyond any other vet I've seen
Apr 30, 2025 · Karen RossI’ve been bringing my cats here for the past couple of years. The staff always takes really great care of them, even when they are difficult to handle. The office staff, technicians, and veterinarians have all been very kind and supportive. I also appreciate the texts they send to check in after the dental cleanings or when one has needed medication. They were also able to squeeze in a last minute appointment when one of my chickens needed euthanasia. It’s really hard to find someone able to help with chickens, but as always, they took really great care of her in her final moments. It’s a big relief to have a practice I trust to provide the best care!
Jan 09, 2025 · Rachel MartinServices were okay. I've never spent 2 hours at a vet before when I had an appointment, but I know there are things I cannot see behind the scenes. I assume I saw a doctor, but I'm unsure because they never introduced themselves. No names or titles were offered from any of the 4 people that entered our room. They also had to stick my pup 4 times for his pro heart injection, which seemed a little much to me. Then, the prices were absolutely through the roof. I'm a multi pup owner, and my pups have always gone to vets for their annual exams, regular shots, heartworm and flea preventions, and I've never hesitated to get them any additional treatments or medications that they may need. They are big dogs, and taking proper care of your animals can be expensive no matter the size, but I have never paid such high prices for any of these things. $100 for an annual exam, which was subpar at best compared to others my pups have received. They barely touched either pup and didn't even look at one's teeth. The 12 month pro heart injection was $113.82 MORE than what I paid at my last vet less than a year ago (same dosage for a dog in the same size range). I understand inflation and that prices change yearly. I get that. But $113.82 increase in less than a year's time? I just can't see how that is accurate. I will likely be shopping around for another vet with more reasonable pricing.
