Cheshire Animal Hospital is a well-established and highly-regarded animal hospital that has been serving the Monadnock Region since 1973. Cheshire Animal Hospital Reviews
Took our daughter’s new kitten, Toby Jasper, to Cheshire Animal Hospital for his very first vet appointment and couldn’t be happier with how it went. Everyone there was so kind and gentle with him... he was a little nervous, but they made the whole experience calm and easy. They took their time explaining everything and made sure we felt comfortable with what to expect as he grows. You can tell they really care about the animals they see. Definitely feel like Toby’s in good hands here.
Jun 07, 2025 · Jackson StoneThanks to the Vets here we were able to detect my senior boy's heart murmur and diagnose his heart disease right away (the murmur was not caught prior). They take direct pay from Trupanion Pet Insurance, so it has made all of his tests and medications very affordable (covers 90%). We are so grateful to be "ahead" of the disease so that we can avoid acute CHF, which would be very scary and distressing to us and our boy. They have a very skilled Cardiologist who works with them now, so we no longer have to travel to Concord and can get answers sooner. We are grateful that the insurance has allowed us to give our dog every advantage, the best healthcare for the best outcome, because I do not think we could afford it otherwise.Everyone there has been compassionate, they follow-up with us on prescriptions, treats and seem to remember every inquiry. Dr. Nicole is very kind and knowledgeable. She always gets back to me, as I am constantly monitoring my boy's slow decline and reaction both good and bad to the medication changes. We highly recommend Cheshire Animal Hospital and are so fortunate to be able to give the best to our beloved four-legged family member as he gets closer to the end of his extraordinary life. Thank you- the Slaughters
Nov 05, 2024 · Nicole SThey were absolutely amazing! My shepherd had a severe allergic reaction and they saw her within 30 minutes of my call. The front desk was super sweet and caring. They truly cared about the well being of my dog and that’s hard to find for vets in the area. The doctor was patient and thorough with explanation. With all said I wasn’t a previous client of theirs and they welcomed my dog with open arms- they have gained a lifelong client!
Feb 19, 2025 · Haylie WilliamsCant say enough good things about CAH! The front desk staff and hospital managers are always very responsive and easy to work with. The vet techs are professional, courteous, friendly and knowledgeable.Dr.Oatis is so compassionate and caring! She explains thoroughly and communicates clearly with each of my pets. By far one of my favorite veterinarians! So appreciative for CAH as the veterinary industry doesnt get enough recognition for the time, education, cost and labor(mental, emotional and physical)that goes into keeping pets safe and that passion shows with all of CAHs employees. Thank you for the love you provide for all 4 of my boys!
Jan 19, 2024 · Tabitha WolfordLove Cheshire Animal Hospital. Dr. Jeff Pearson was compassionate and caring when it was time to say good bye to our family member Sprout after 17 years. Izzy is a handful sometimes when visiting(energetic Lab puppy) but they always treat her with respect and kindness. The staff is always welcoming and kind. I am glad we found Cheshire Animal Hospital when moving to the area 2 years ago.
