Park Place Veterinary Hospital Reviews
The staff at Park Place are all amazing! I’ve been taking my two shepherds there for 10 years. We especially love Dr. Reilly and Dr. Lang…they are exceptional at what they do! ♥️
Feb 28, 2025 · Kelli MurphyI took my cat here for a checkup and eventually later down the line he needed dental work. The people here were absolutely fantastic, and very transparent with the prices of things and timing. They also are very personable. I will definitely recommend this for your fur covered friends.
Jul 02, 2025 · Jak Mikal ThomasI have a highly anxious rescue and I wasn’t thrilled with how they interacted with him and I.I had rescued my dog and brought him into Park Place a week after I got him and immediately they recommended medicating him. I made sure to advocate that I wanted him to settle into his new life and see what I was working with in regards to training and desensitization before I thought about adding medication into the mix.We came back a few time for bloodwork and vaccines and routine check ups and every time I was told about medication because they “didn’t want him to just get worse”. Meanwhile, he started getting out of the car on his own, walked in the door first, and even went into a room without me for vaccines. He had a different vet at Park Place for one visit and she noticed immediately that he does better with me in the room and less vet techs. Don’t get me wrong, I want him to be okay without me in the room. I want that win for him but at that time in his life he did better with my support. She said that she wrote that information in his file but at other appointments it was like his regular vet never read the notes. They were baby steps but with an anxious dog like him, baby steps are HUGE. Still with his baby steps and my joy over how well he’s been doing at home, in the car, at work, and going to new places, their main goal was for me to give him anxiety medication. We since have gone to another vet and are happier. We have tried medication after a year and a half of him being with me and he got worse, even after the awkward two week period of him adjusting to the medication. It’s now been two years since I’ve adopted him and he is thriving without medication. He will forever be an anxious dog in new situations and I will forever advocate for our boundaries. He has come a long way and I only wish that they would have celebrated his wins with me instead of trying their best to convince me to add medication.
Jun 18, 2025 · Allison NewellI've been to a number of veterinary through the years. Park Place rates at the top of the list. The staff was very helpful. Dr. Lang was very pleasant, didn't treat us like we didn't know anything about dogs, and the dog liked her immensely - perhaps aided by treats : -). We will continue taking our dog there
Apr 27, 2025 · Dawn DowdDr. Lang and her team have been the most incredible veterinary team I've ever had for my animals. From check ups to the hardest time in pet ownership, they've been caring, thoughtful, well-educated, and kind through each interaction. I will use her practice for as long as they will have us.
