City Cat Vets Reviews
Amazing atmosphere, sweet vets and vet techs, friendly front desk. They were VERY accommodating and patient with my two special needs kittens. I would imagine they'd be just as lovely with other cats. My kittens have moderate Cerebellar Hypoplasia, they knew exactly what sorts of health problems to check for with them. They were able to give me advice as to how to help with a couple of behavioral issues. They also gave me tubes to collect samples to bring in next time.I got a high-ball answer when I asked prior to going in how much it would cost. A part of that high-ball cost prediction was the deposit I paid ahead of time to be a new client with them, a part of that guestimation was also the sample testing tubes. They allowed me to take the tubes without quite paying for them, with the understanding that I'd pay for the samples next time I came in. Which was super helpful considering I recently lost my income due to this wonderful 🫲🏻🫱🏻 admin we got going on in this country 🙄 they also said it may be slightly higher just because of the health problems that can come with CH cats. Ended up being affordable, and the deferred payment for samples for next time is beyond appreciated. They also said I could pay ahead of time when I have funds, in case if money is inconsistent in the future. As an aside, I believe it was one of the other technicians who came out and asked if a cat in their records "did this cat go to heaven?" I'm not a religious person but that was just a sweet lil way of saying that, that being their term for the end of a kitties life, just really sweet to hear.Big fan, definitely sticking with them for as long as I can.
Apr 28, 2025 · Pockets ProjectsHaving just moved to Philly, I needed a new vet for my cats. I can’t recommend city cat vets enough! James was wonderful with my two cats. Very knowledgeable, kind, and made my cats extremely comfortable throughout their examination. The office itself is adorable. Would highly recommend this place!
Apr 05, 2025 · Ru SultanIt’s not the cheapest I’ll be honest about that. But fellow cat owners know that a lot of vets simply don’t like cats. My Bella bubbles is 14 and a very relaxed animal but she’s truly been even more so a dream for this vet. Absolutely no scruffing here !!!!!
May 20, 2025 · Brittany CooperMy experience with City Cat Vets has been nothing but smooth and positive. Booking an appointment for my cat Juniper as a new patient was unexpectedly easy. When I called to book about 2 months in advance they had plenty of availability, and we completed the intake information and scheduling in less than 5 mins over the phone! When I arrived at the office, I was surprised to see a basket of blankets with artificial calming pheromones to cover carriers, and using one helped Juni stay calm. The vet and tech were both incredibly kind and attentive and treated her with the utmost respect and care. She’s been much more anxious at vets in the past, but CCV was a world of difference. I will gladly continue bringing Juniper here for all her medical needs! Thank you City Cat Vets!
May 13, 2025 · Simon LaraThis may be an unconventional review. We came to City Cat Vets to do what no pet owner ever wants to do, which is to help our almost 20 year cat cross over after a long life of wonderful cuddles. The staff here were amazing, empathetic, and professional. They made sure our cat was comfortable, loved, and gave us the space to be huge, weepy, snotty messes as we spent our last moments together. They let us have all the time we needed after it was over and they gave us lots of options for how to handle her remains without being pushy about anything at all. They also took care of all of the paperwork and payments upfront so that after we were done grieving in the room all we had to do was leave. I will remember their kindness for a long time and also thank you for letting us use the whole box of tissues.
