Several features and highlights distinguish City Line Veterinary Center from other providers in the region. These aspects contribute to the overall quality of care and the positive experiences reported by many clients.
- Comprehensive Care Model: The ability to provide a full suite of services, from emergency care to grooming, means pet owners do not have to juggle multiple appointments at different locations. This integrated approach simplifies pet care and ensures continuity.
- Pet Wellness Plans: As highlighted in a customer review, the "package deal" or wellness plans are an incredible value, making high-quality, preventative care affordable for local families. This feature makes it easier to provide consistent care for your pet without straining your budget.
- Accessibility: The facility’s commitment to providing a wheelchair-accessible entrance, parking lot, and restroom demonstrates a focus on making their services available to all members of the community, an important consideration for many.
- Onsite Services: The convenience of on-site diagnostic and treatment options, such as laboratory testing and diagnostic imaging, means faster results and quicker treatment plans, which can be critical during a pet's illness.
- Emergency Services: The availability of an emergency veterinarian service provides peace of mind for pet owners, knowing they have a local resource for urgent and critical care situations.
While most reviews are positive, the business has faced criticism. One customer shared a distressing experience with a dying cat, citing a lack of communication regarding lab results and difficulty in obtaining a refund for unused services. This incident highlights that while the center strives for excellence, individual experiences may vary, and it is important for clients to be proactive in communicating their needs and concerns. The business's ability to address and learn from such feedback is crucial for its continued success.

Choosing City Line Veterinary Center is a decision to invest in comprehensive, convenient, and compassionate care for your pet. The pet wellness plans, as praised by one satisfied customer, are a standout reason to choose this clinic. They offer a financially manageable way to ensure your pet receives regular, proactive care, which is the foundation of long-term health. The customer noted that the plan "covers most all of his care for the year," making pet ownership "economical" and stress-free. This financial peace of mind, coupled with the friendliness of the staff who are "always happy to see Copper," creates a welcoming and supportive environment. The range of services, including everything from routine vaccinations to emergency surgery, means you will not have to look elsewhere as your pet's needs evolve.
However, it is important to consider all perspectives. The negative review regarding the communication breakdown and handling of a tragic situation is a reminder that while systems are in place, personal experiences can differ. For pet owners, clear communication is paramount, especially during a crisis. While the sympathy card and the stated reason for not providing a refund were offered, the customer's feeling of being unheard and the lack of a timely call about the lab results are valid concerns. This review underscores the importance of a client-centered approach, especially in sensitive situations. Despite this, the overwhelming positive feedback and the sheer breadth of services still position City Line Veterinary Center as a valuable resource for the Moline community. For many, the financial practicality of the wellness plans and the convenience of a single, full-service location are compelling reasons to make this their go-to choice for veterinary care.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I have a pomapoo I can’t see taking Copper anywhere else for the care he gets there. The package deal that I’m signed up for covers most all of his care for the year. It’s a great deal and is easy on the wallet. I would not be able to have a dog if it wasn’t for the economical monthly fee that covers most of his cost. Everyone is always so friendly there and they’re always happy to see Copper.
August 19 · cindy nitzI’m super disappointed in taking my cat here. My cat started having seizures after 8 years of not having them. I took her in and the options were put her to sleep or blood work to see if she started to develop an underlying condition. I was told I’d get a call Saturday since I did the send out labs. I spent over $250 to do this. I asked the doctor before the labs if she was in pain or discomfort and I was reassured no, she’s happy and purring after them.. The doctor did say if Tig started to have more than 2 seizure's a day she needed to go to the emergency room vet. My cat started having them every 2 hours after the blood work. We ended up putting her to sleep that next morning. While waiting at the ER they were every 3-5 minutes. Even while she was being sedated she was still having them. I never got the call about her blood work. I waited a week and I finally called them.. I was told the doctor that did the labs wasn’t in and she’d call me. I asked if it was possible to get a refund since I never got a call about the labs and my cat died the next day. They told me no because they used their supplies… They sent me a sympathy card.. still no lab results.. I have gotten my cat remans back.. still no call from city lines. At this point I feel like they made a easy $200 from my dying cat that could have just been put to sleep in the first place and I wouldn’t have spent over $600 to save her. Still weeks later I never heard from city lines.
June 23 · Nicole BartoschThey have been super amazing. I had a male cat at the beginning of the year who had a really bad uti. They helped every step of the way to make his passing easier on me. Today very last minute I called freaking out because I decided it was time for a new beautiful boy. Got home and and seen he had a passed a little bit of blood. They didn’t hesitate to tell me to bring him in. Now my fluffy but is at home sleeping and drinking a little water.
March 27 · anna LottAfter being turned away from an emergency office in our area we called City Line and they had us come in. After labs and some fluids they had our puppy back to himself! The price was perfect and the care was as absolutely top level.
July 26 · Ashley MI am thankful that we have a place that will take walk-ins but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The front desk person was very unwelcoming and not friendly when I asked questions (as we had never been there before). The vet techs and vet were all very friendly. The vet was thorough in her explanation of everything which I appreciated. We are now a week out from when we were in and they still haven’t sent all of the information/results to our regular vet. I requested the results be sent over when we were in and our vet has now called twice and they still haven’t sent everything for our vet to review which is pretty disappointing and seems like an easy thing to get done.
