I can’t say enough good things about CPV! They were recommended by my vet in Florida who knew of them since she had previously taken classes at UNC. She was awesome and caring and I wanted a vet here just like her. Well, I found them!Everyone at CPV has that genuine caring personality and we’re so great with my new babies. I was nervous because my oldest cat is very moody and nervous around new people. She did so great (for her) and my baby cat loved the attention and Churu. Definitely a food motivated little girl.Dr. Gagliardo was not only professional but I can tell she also loves her patients as does every staff member I met. When we got home, neither baby hid when they were let out of their carriers, which is a good sign. That tells me that the visit didn’t stress them out too much.I highly recommend CPV!UPDATE: Since my original review I’ve been there 3 more times. My cats had to go back to get their shots and during the visit, the vet stated that my oldest cat looked like she was trying to get an ear infection. She didn’t test her ears and a week later (Easter Sunday) we spent over 3 hours at Urgent Vet because she had an ear infection. When I brought her for a recheck, Dr. Doyle (I think that was her name) was awesome and explained everything that was going on with my cat. She’s doing great now. Then a week later, my youngest cat started shaking her head, so I took her in to get her ears checked. The staff and vet were great up until it was time to leave. I was waiting in the exam room for someone to come back with her ear meds, and the vet came in and he politely said I needed to go to the front desk because they all wanted to go to lunch. He assured me her meds would be there…and they weren’t. Now they’ve all gone to lunch and my cat has no meds for her ears. So, Saturday I go to get her meds, well apparently I was confused on what the he was saying. I was supposed to be using the leftover meds from my other cat on her but with a cotton swab. I really wish he would have given written instructions because he’d talked about different options and it wasn’t clear to me what I was supposed to do. I thought he was prescribing her different meds. The receptionist said she had called me to tell me, but I had no missed calls or messages from them.I will continue to take my cats there because my cats and I do like the staff, but I guess I just have to remember to ask more questions. - Linda M
