★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This is the best vet clinic ever!! I moved to the Bay Area from LA recently and I didn’t think my last vet clinic could be topped, but let me tell you… a feline only vet clinic is the way to go.There are towels sprayed with Feliway to drape over carriers for stressed out cats, a very large waiting area so cats don’t feel on edge, lots of cat goods for sale. The patient room had treats prepared, baskets with blanket under the chairs, and a large towel on the exam table. When the vet came in, she was very calm and didn’t force my cat out of the carrier. That made my cat feel comfortable to come out and he let her do the exam. Normally he’s scared af during exams and wants to hide. The vet asked me lots of questions and gave great suggestions. Her staff had reached out to my old vet clinic to get my cats medical history and it was very helpful. I highly recommend this clinic!!
August 02 · Stephanie CThis clinic is amazing, they always have taken such good care of our cats. It’s so nice that it is a cat only clinic, my cats are less stressed coming here than they have been at other vet offices. The staff is all so kind and the vets are amazing. And my kitty loved the boxes and blankets in the exam room. Definitely would recommend!
April 03 · Julianna DuensingGreat visit. All of the people in the Walnut Creek office are friendly and helpful. Came away with a lot of knowledge about feeding our cats which was much needed. Took care of Max's eye problem with great explanation. We have been consistent cat owners for over 25 years and this is the best place we've ever taken them to. Thank you
July 13 · Karen ZaragozaGreat first experience at Civic Feline Clinic! From the reception staff, veterinarian assistants to the Veterinarian, all were friendly & professional! Clean & caring environment!
July 22 · Annika KaneSaved my senior cat when other places told me to put him down and that he wouldn't last 24 hours. They were very reasonable with the expenses and he's happy and healthy more than a year later. I have since transferred over from the old vet. They understand cats and I think they are really sincere about providing care vs racking up the bill.***Update***They made a mistake that resulted in more than a $200 surprise when verbally quoting me, which I required before authorizing work. The person who made the mistake was honest, which I appreciate, and tried to ask the manager for options to make it right. The manager offered a concession that I did not agree with and when I tried to explain my perspective, she made rude, judgmental faces at me for explaining my financial situation. She asked me what I thought would make it right and I said, charge what I authorized. She wouldn't do that, and that is what it is, maybe she could say, I'm really sorry I'm not allowed to do that or something, or offer to meet in the middle, instead she started saying a bunch of stuff that wasn't what was happening in this situation. I corrected her and said, but that isn't what happened, this was a quote mistake to which the manager says- no it wasn't- The person who made the mistake had just said she accidentally left the X-rays off. I replied, that I had just been told the opposite by the person who made the mistake and the manager continued - no that didn't happen. That is gaslighting and it should absolutely never happen. Upset by that, I just gave up because it was so upsetting getting faces made at you and being told what just happened didn't happen and I really like this place, they have great doctors and all the other staff is great. But the owners should know and so should customers, get the verbal emailed to you before authorizing any work because the manager won't honor the verbal and won't correct a mistake or even meet you halfway.I'll leave the 5 stars because this was one incident, handled poorly and overall, they take great care of the animals and I hope this was just one person having a bad day.
