Crawford County Humane Society Veterinary Hospital Reviews
I have been with them since my shepherd, Ruby was 8 weeks old and she is now 12 years old. Dr. Walton just saved her life, also my old English bulldog beagle just got spayed and they all asked me how she was doing and remembered who she was days later. she's not in it for the money, but she is in it for the health of the animals. The full staff is wonderful and thoughtful. So if you need help with your fur babies I recommend them 100%. And the prices are way better than a lot of other clinics.
May 05, 2025 · Lucinda PepperI have been coming here since 2019 possibly 2018. I recently had an appointment scheduled for my dog and with the craziness of being a full time student and working part time, I made an honest mistake and missed my appointment. I got a bill in the mail for a no show fee of $45. Understandable, but I wasn’t sure when they started doing this, and I was never made aware of there being a no show fee. I called to see if I could get this fee waved since I was never made aware of this new policy. The lady on the phone was extremely rude, telling me I’m lying and that I was made aware of the fee because it’s “in my notes”. I told her numerous times that if she can’t waive the fee that’s fine but they definitely never told me about this new policy and I haven’t even had an appointment with them since 2023 and it’s now 2025. She tells me this is the second time I’ve no showed an appointment and I was like “yeah 2 times in 6 years since I started coming in 2019”. Then she tries to tell me I only started being a patient in 2021, literally just splitting hairs at this point and no I’ve literally been coming since atleast 2019. I originally had an account with my boyfriend and all of our dogs, and when we split up in 2021 I had a new account made with only my dog and my name on it. Mind you this whole time I’m being completely nice and respectful and she was being completely ignorant. She then tells me I shouldn’t have missed my appointment and that she doesn’t miss her doctors appointments ever. I can’t make this up. To which I reply, you’ve never made a mistake and missed an appointment? Apparently she is perfect and has not ever missed an appointment. Get off your high horse, and come back down to earth, I was fine with paying the fee. I just figured it was worth asking for it to be excused one time since I was not made aware of the new policy. I wasn’t asking to be lectured, or called a liar. They can take their $45 fee and shove it, I will not be back. I’ll spend the extra $10 to go to an office that cares about their patients and isn’t completely rude and unprofessional.
Feb 19, 2025 · lainie saccomanoThe ENTIRE staff has been amazing. Olive gets her “pedicures” here and the techs are so good with her! We LOVE it here
Jun 24, 2025 · Rachael SDr Walton is the best!!! Calm, caring, gives her time as well as undivided attention during the office visit! I am highly impressed to recommend Dr Walton!
Mar 07, 2025 · Stacy ComptaronHad a veterinary emergency and were told that because our handsome guy wasn't a patient, they couldn't see him. Sadly, he passed away on our way to Cleveland (the closest clinic that would see him). Animal well being is obviously not a priority here. You bring shame and embarrassment to the Meadville community. Good job.
