Dallas Veterinary Clinic Reviews
As a certified dog behavior consultant with the IAABC I am always looking for primary care providers who are trained in low-stress handling and have an understanding of how medical and behavior are intertwined. I have referred many behavior cases to DVC for work-ups and can't count how many times they've been able to uncover things that other clinics missed.Additionally, I began to take my own dog, Seven, here for his routine care. He is very fearful of strangers and has had a negative history in the clinic setting, but Dr. Parker and Jessie have been willing to go slow and earn his trust over time. They are flexible and suggest creative ideas beyond what a traditional vet may be willing to do. They make the logistics of appointments and payments very easy, too!I am SO grateful to have found DVC for my own dogs and for my clients!
Feb 04, 2025 · Kristina MartinI moved to Dallas for law school and was looking for a new veterinarian. My dog has always been very afraid of the vet trying to hide in the corners and get away from them when he was getting his check ups. When I was looking into vets in Dallas, I saw that this veterinarian office stated that it had a fear free practice. I read the reviews and saw that many clients stated how patient and kind the veterinarians were with their pets.Taking my dog here was truly such an amazing experience. My dog is not friendly with other animals, and the staff always made sure that he was not in a room or waiting area with other dogs or cats around. We were always taken into a room very quickly upon our arrival.Every time we went to the vets office, the vet veterinarians would sit on the floor with him and wait for him to come to them instead of forcing him to allow them to check his ears or give him a shot. The whole staff was so patient with him and always made sure to give him a lot of treats during his visit. I never felt pressured into any kind of procedure for my pet and they always worked with the budget that I had.We made many appointments with this veterinarian because he was suffering with allergy problems, which we finally got under control after years of trying back home. My dog did not have any fear walking into the veterinarians office and happily greeted the doctors and other staff.I have moved away from Dallas, but miss this practice dearly. I recommend them to everybody. I know that has an animal in Dallas, Texas. I am thankful for them for having so much patience with my dog and for always working with me to make sure he was healthy and happy.Rico misses you all! Thanks for everything.
Jan 31, 2025 · renee vasquezThe staff and Dr. Priddy are very kind. A very relaxing an nice environment for animals and humans. I recently switched vets because all the ones I have previously used have all been bought by private equity. It's personally important to me that the clinic I frequent be locally owned preferably by the main Dr. running the practice. I believe this makes for a better overall relationship with the animals and client.
May 27, 2025 · Dallas LocalI am so disappointed with the lack of care and empathy I received from the woman who answered the phone this morning, I think her name was Jessie, when I called about an urgent situation with my dog. I have been going to this vet for the last couple of years, have spent a lot of time and money at this vet for both of my dogs, and I was shocked when this person responded to my situation the way she did. We love Dr. Parker and I’m sure the other vets are just as great but we will be taking our business elsewhere because of this person alone. I highly recommend having anyone other than Jessie answer the phones as she is clearly not trained to deal with people in distress about their animals.
Jun 03, 2025 · Shelby GreenClinic staff were really courteous and caring. The clinic in general was nice and quiet, clean and cozy. There was a little sound machine going for soothing/calming atmosphere. Dr. Priddy was so gentle and caring too. Our appointment was late in the day so not sure if this calm and quiet atmosphere is typical for the clinic but I am pleased that the staff was working hard to make the experience not so unpleasant for a slightly anxious feline patient. Thank you!
