Dighton Veterinary Hospital Reviews
Love the vets here! They are always so nice to me and my kitty. I wouldn't bring my animals anywhere else. Thank you for being awesome !
Mar 28, 2025 · HaileasoaresBrought my dog there to be what I was told to be humanity euthanized due tohealth issues and was treated with zero compassion or respect by the woman at the front desk, who I believe to be the Vet's sister. I was not allowed to be with him at the end and the woman just snatched him away and dragged him to the back like a bag of trash going to the curbside. If you truly love your pet you won't bring them here!
May 11, 2025 · C GI am used to going to the Taunton animal hospital, but as I cant use them because they are not accepting new patients… I had to look elsewhere. The vet herself was good, the front desk lady was not kind at all.. she definitely should not be working with animals.
May 27, 2025 · iicarebeariIt’s very unfortunate that I had to change vets after 16 years of my cat going to this vet. The front desk woman was so rude to me over the phone. She was condescending and treated me like I was stupid for asking if I could get some advice for my cat. I have two toddlers and I have a very limited amount of time in the schedule to be able to go to the vet with my cat and she was completely disregarding that and giving me ridiculous times like 7 AM. I have a two-year-old and a three-year-old I cannot do 7 AM.After I hung up the phone I immediately called another place and got her in. After almost 17 YEARS in with the same vet! I refuse to go to a place that talks to people that way. Im disappointed they could be kind and accommodating. And they only schedule in the morning now that’s ridiculous too.
Mar 10, 2025 · Sarah CraveroRUN. DO NOT GO HERE. READ THE REVIEWS, EVEN IF YOU LIVE NEXT TO THIS PLACE.I have repeatedly been taken aback by the attitude of the people at the front desk/answering the phone. I have called multiple times since moving to the area about serious issues and it always felt like I was interrupting a coffee break or they couldn't be bothered. I'm talking downright rude, not just insensitive.Today my dog ingested 4-6 Oz (a large amount) of fudge. I called them immediately and the vet tech didn't seem phased. She said to just monitor my dog and if I felt the need to take him to the ER to go for it. For reference, the amount of chocolate my dog ate would have killed him. They said to give him hydrogen peroxide and induce vomiting. I called back when my dog hadn't thrown up (after wasting 20 minutes) and the same tech just said give him more hydrogen peroxide instead of just suggesting from the jump to go to an urgent care immediately because of the large amount of fudge. When I got to the urgent care they said I should have taken him there immediately. As you can see from all of the other reviews I've now read, this is not an isolated incident. This is how the vet does business and I am horrified I brought my dog there in first place after going down the rabbithole. All I want from a vet tech is empathy and professionalism and today was the last straw. I live right down the street but I'll be driving substantially further away to take my dog to another vet.
