Jun 22, 2025 · Jamie RobinsonTaunton Cat Hospital has an amazing staff who are very kind and helpful, and they have reasonable and transparent pricing. I recommend them to dog owners just in case they become cat owners in the future.
Jul 05, 2025 · Scott HebertThe staff are all friendly and clearly love cats. My Mystic is very anxious and will hiss when handled due to getting overwhelmed, but they always treat her gently and make sure the exam is as quick as possible. I'm always impressed with how well they are able to handle her since she's very good at squirming free and running, but she never reaches the point when she feels the need.On top of this, they sent me a condolence card signed with personal messages from all the staff when my previous cat died. It was very comforting during my grief.
Jan 13, 2025 · Doodler BeeLauren and Dr. Fitzgerald were great. I have a very anxious cat, who has never had medical care. There was no shame or belittling they were happy to just start her care and come up with a plan to make sure she is healthy. The exam rooms and waiting areas are designed to keep your cat at ease. Although the care was pricey- it was a thorough visit and I was consented and informed of prices, risks and benefits before proceeding with any treatment. Padmè got free snacks the entire time and they kept her very comfortable, and did only what she allowed!Thank you 💗
May 08, 2024 · Laura TaylorI loved Taunton Cat Hospital many years ago. The old vets at the practice were amazing and did everything they could to accommodate and assist when it came to emergencies and I’ll always be thankful. Prices were high but the care and love were there. So we continued bringing, as in my whole family and extended family, eight of our cats between us all. Now? Prices are even higher—even triple than other places. And the care NOW? My MIL’s cat who is 20 is trying to cross the rainbow bridge. Is in clear distress. Has been going to this practice for many years. They couldn’t squeeze her in to help her let her cat cross the rainbow bridge! Their reply? “We are booked up.” I’m sorry. But have some empathy but also resources instead of that reply. The old TCH would have called other places, advocated, and then checked in for a long time patient. This has made this entire family lose faith in this practice at this time. Based on the now lack of empathy, price gouging, hidden high fees, lack of accommodation, and lack of care for even long term patients… Yeah, no longer recommend.
