What makes Downtown Knoxville Veterinary a truly excellent choice is the profound level of care and trust they build with their clients. The personal testimonials from satisfied customers speak volumes. As a first-time dog mom noted, Dr. Wolf's "kindness, compassion, and attention to detail is rooted deep," and the pet "loved her for sure." This personal connection is paramount and creates a feeling of security that is invaluable. Another client, who was navigating a difficult and rare diagnosis for her cat, expressed immense relief at finding Dr. Wolf. She was impressed that the veterinarian "didn't shrug her shoulders at the situation" but instead offered "excellent ideas on interventions" when a university hospital could not. This demonstrates a deep level of expertise and a commitment to helping pets even in the most challenging circumstances. The new, beautiful building and convenient features are certainly a bonus, but as the reviewer said, "at the end of the day, it's the excellent care that's most valuable to us." By choosing Downtown Knoxville Veterinary, you are not just getting a service; you are gaining a dedicated and compassionate partner in your pet's life, a team that treats your animal with the same love and attention they would their own.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Taking a more tailored, in-depth approach to patient care means a lot to me as a first-time dog mom. It was our first time meeting Dr. Wolf and I can already tell that her kindness, compassion, and attention to detail is rooted deep! Honey loved her for sure. She was recommended by a trusted friend and I’m so impressed. Our visit was enjoyable, the staff was great, and the new office is beautiful. Looking forward to DKV becoming our primary vet!
July 02 · Lex HootenMy kitty recently had some work-up on some issues at a university veterinary hospital. Sadly, there is no known treatment, and no one on staff there had ever seen this diagnosis in person. This is a lonely place to be, on a journey I wish we weren't on. Of course, I was apprehensive about changing providers at this delicate time. But I'm so glad I did. It's everything to have met, Dr. Wolf, she didn't shrug her shoulders at the situation and didn't send us elsewhere ; instead, she had some excellent ideas on interventions for this orange kitty. Certainly, the new building is thoughtfully designed and is a pleasant space to visit; but at the end of the day, it's the excellent care that's most valuable to us. ❤️
July 02 · Melissa WilsonMy vet Dr. Erika Wolf just opened a new practice downtown, and I want to tell you all about how wonderful it is.The space doesn’t look like any veterinary office I’ve ever been to. Forst impression- It’s like walking into a spa. It’s soft, airy neutral tones, and you aren’t hit with shelves full of things and advertisements for pet products or cluttered tables. It’s very calm and intentional. They offered me water or a coffee, knowing I was there in an emotional state (though I imagine they’d offer that to anyone). The rooms aren’t totally soundproof, but they’re significantly quieter than other vet exam rooms. They had soothing nature sounds playing. They carry the same spa aesthetic the lobby has.Dr. Wolf is so compassionate and kind- she has an excellent bedside manner. She and her staff are thorough and go at your animal’s pace. They genuinely care about getting accurate and complete information and examination to ensure your pet’s health. You can tell Dr. Wolf is someone who really values continuing education and always explains options for treatment and why one option might be preferable to others. Cost is industry standard, but in my opinion the level of care, service, and experience make it an extremely good value. To sum it up, if you want the best care and experience for your pet, this is where you need to go.
July 15 · Leslie MyersDr. Wolf has been our veterinarian for years. I cannot recommend her enough and need more stars to give her. Dr. Wolf is personable, compassionate, caring and so knowledgeable. It is clear she truly loves her patients. Our pup was always ready to visit Dr. Wolf and she received great care. We have several friends that also take their pets to Dr. Wolf and the say the same great things about her. Can’t wait to see her new clinic.
April 14 · James MynattHank and Harry have been patients of Dr Wolf since they said their first meows so of course they had to follow her to the new clinic. Finally, no long drives to see the doctor! It’s beautiful and well designed to provide a stress free environment for cats and dogs with separate waiting and exam rooms so that they don’t need to interact. The patient portal and electronic medical record allows immediate visit summaries, easy scheduling and billing. Her staff is knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Caregivers get complementary snacks and drinks. Parking is right at the front door and free. Harry and Hank highly recommend Dr Wolf and her staff to their Old North Knoxville, Old City, and downtown four legged friends.
