★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Absolutely love this clinic. We bring our 3 dogs and 2 cats here. Love the environment and how they run the place. I believe their prices are very fair. I'm glad this is the place we chose for our fur babies care.
July 10 · Jennifer FoleyHeartfelt Praise for Dr. James Hilla and the Staff at Callahan Drive Animal HospitalSaying goodbye to a beloved pet is one of the hardest things a family can go through, and when the time came for us to let our sweet chicken, Rose, pass peacefully, we were blessed beyond measure to have the compassionate care of Dr. James Hilla and his incredible team at Callahan Drive Animal Hospital. From the very first phone call, we were met with genuine warmth and compassion. The receptionist spoke with kindness and understanding, making an emotionally difficult appointment feel just a little more bearable. It's clear that this is not just a clinic—it's a place where animals and their people are truly seen and cared for. When we arrived, everything had already been thoughtfully prepared. Our paperwork was completed, and Rose’s name was on it—such a small but deeply meaningful detail that made it clear she wasn’t just "a chicken" to them. She was a patient, a life that mattered. We were taken into a private room right away, where Dr. Hilla and his team explained everything with such tenderness and respect. He walked us through what to expect and assured us that Rose’s condition—water belly caused by pulmonary hypertension—was not something we could have prevented. His words brought comfort and peace in the midst of our grief. When the time came, Dr. Hilla handled Rose with the utmost gentleness. Afterward, he returned her to us in a soft cremation bag so we could bring her home and bury her beneath our mulberry tree, beside her sister Dorothy. That gesture alone—offering us a respectful way to bring her home—meant more than we can say.In a world that often underestimates the love we have for our animals, Dr. Hilla and his staff stand as a reminder that compassion still exists in veterinary care, even for the smallest and quietest of creatures. We will forever be grateful for their empathy, professionalism, and grace during such a painful time. Thank you, Callahan Drive Animal Hospital, for honoring our sweet Rose’s life—and for treating our hearts with such care. With deep gratitude,Diana & Mark Peters~ In Loving Memory of Rose, One of Our Golden Girls 🐔💛 ~
May 24 · Mark PetersThe Vet and staff are friendly and professional. We have been here before, and that's why we went back, the doctor has what I call a very good bedside manner. This time was not a very good trip for us. You see we were losing our little dragon. They did everything they could do, and the doctor did his best to break it to my wife, she was close to our dragon. He prepared her to the way things might turn out , in a very nice way. It will be a little while before we get another bearded dragon 🐉, this doctor will be there doctor.
June 16 · Jamie LynchI am always so impressed with the care that my dog receives at Callahan Drive Animal Hospital. My fur baby is a handful at 125 pounds, but they are patient and loving with him. Highly recommend!
June 18 · Angie PhillipsCallahan Drive animal hospital is wonderful. From front desk, vet technicians to the veterinarian they are outstanding. They worked our orange kitty Mr Clayton in after our previous vet left him scared and we were unhappy with their treatment of him.Front desk squeezed Mr Clayton in and doctor was kind and caring and VERY knowledgeable. We are thrilled with our new veterinarian and his office.I highly recommend this practice for your fur kids!!!
