Dr. Fallek stands out in the Connecticut veterinary landscape for her profound expertise in holistic modalities, embracing a philosophy that views the animal's health as a whole – considering physical, emotional, and behavioral aspects to find the most appropriate and effective treatments. Her approach is rooted in the belief that animals possess an innate ability to heal, and her role is to facilitate this healing using natural methods, often minimizing or even eliminating the need for conventional drugs and invasive procedures. This resonates deeply with pet parents seeking compassionate, less invasive, and truly individualized care for their furry family members.

---Dr. Marcie Fallek DVM practices from her office located at 248 Alden St, Fairfield, CT 06824, USA. This Fairfield address positions her clinic conveniently for pet owners throughout Fairfield County and beyond in Connecticut. Alden Street offers a relatively accessible location within the town, making it a manageable destination for those driving from various parts of the state.
Fairfield is a central and well-connected town in Connecticut, making Dr. Fallek's practice accessible to residents from neighboring communities such as Westport, Norwalk, Trumbull, Bridgeport, and Easton. What's unique about Dr. Fallek's practice, and a significant part of its accessibility, is the environment she fosters for consultations. She intentionally creates a "relaxed homey environment/atmosphere," distinct from a typical veterinary setting that might have medicinal or fear-inducing smells. Pets are free to wander and relax, with toys, rugs, and water available to help them feel at home. This unique setting significantly enhances accessibility for anxious or sensitive animals, making the visit itself a more positive experience.
Furthermore, Dr. Fallek understands the challenges of distance for some pet owners. While in-person visits are strongly encouraged for the wealth of information that can be obtained from seeing the animal directly, she also offers phone consultations. This flexibility in consultation methods further broadens her reach and makes her specialized holistic care accessible to a wider range of pet parents across Connecticut who might live too far for regular in-person appointments.
---Dr. Marcie Fallek DVM specializes in holistic veterinary services, offering a comprehensive and integrated approach to pet health that focuses on natural healing and addressing the root causes of illness. Her modalities often serve as effective alternatives or complements to conventional veterinary treatments, particularly for chronic or difficult-to-treat conditions.
- Veterinary Acupuncture: A cornerstone of her practice, acupuncture involves stimulating specific points on the body to promote healing, alleviate pain, and restore balance. Clients frequently report immediate relaxation and significant improvement in mobility and comfort, particularly for musculoskeletal issues.
- Homeopathy: Utilizing highly diluted natural substances, homeopathy aims to stimulate the body's self-healing mechanisms, treating the deepest constitutional causes of illness by matching "like cures like." Remedies are chosen based on a pet's unique physical, emotional, and behavioral profile.
- Nutritional Counseling: Providing expert guidance on species-appropriate diets, nutritional supplements, and food therapy to support overall health, manage specific conditions, and enhance vitality. Dr. Fallek emphasizes the role of proper nutrition as foundational preventative medicine.
- Cold Laser Therapy: A non-invasive treatment that uses low-level laser light to reduce pain and inflammation, accelerate tissue healing, and improve circulation. It's often used for conditions like arthritis, post-surgical recovery, and disc disease.
- Behavioral Counseling and Treatment: Addressing a range of behavioral issues by taking into account all aspects of a pet's life – physical, emotional, and environmental – to find holistic solutions that promote well-being and harmony.
- Herbal Medicine: Utilizing plant-based remedies and supplements to support various body systems, address specific ailments, and promote overall balance with fewer side effects than some conventional medications.
- Phone Consultations: Offering the convenience of remote consultations for pet owners who live far from her Fairfield office, though an initial in-person visit is highly recommended to gather comprehensive information.
- Individualized Treatment Plans: Every treatment protocol is tailored to the specific needs of each animal, considering their unique constitution, existing conditions, and responses to therapies. Dr. Fallek prides herself on not using a "one-size-fits-all" approach.
- Minimizing Toxic Drugs: Dr. Fallek operates with a philosophy of rarely, if ever, needing to use toxic drugs, opting instead for natural modalities to rebalance the body and facilitate natural healing.

Fallek Marcie DVM Reviews
Dr. Fallek has been instrumental in improving the health of my senior rescue cat with feline leukemia. When I took him home the shelter thought he had “maybe a few months” left. That was 19 months ago and he is doing great. We use homeopathic remedies that change along with his needs, as Dr. Fallek takes into account all that is going on physically, emotionally and behaviorally to find the right match. It is “whole”istic medicine and with Dr. Fallek’s expertise has healed or alleviated many of the issues that were present when I took him home. I will always be grateful to have found a vet I can trust and delivers results!
Jun 02, 2020 · Linda FiskeDr. Fallek is a highly skilled, knowlegable, empathetic holistic vet, I only wish I had known her years ago. I brought my 15-year old rescue pit bull, Barnaby, to see her after a well-known neurologist told me that surgery was the only option to treat his 3 bulging discs (one was severe). Barnaby kept falling backwards, unable to use his hind legs to keep his balance, and he was very uncomfortable. After the very first session with Dr. Fallek (using acupuncture, cold laser, homeopathy and other supplements), Barnaby showed improvement, and I was able to immediately drop the prescribed steroids and painkillers. It has been 5 months, and Barnaby is able to go on walks every day (his favorite activity after meals and naps), and his movement is slow but steady and upright, no falling back or listing, and he is very happy. It is thrilling to watch him sigh deeply and completely relax within the first seconds of receiving acupuncture. His drug-free, surgery-free improvement is simply jaw-dropping. Thank you so much, Dr. Fallek!
Aug 17, 2017 · Marcie JacobMy kitty was given days to live because his kidneys were practically gone. Thanks to Marcie, we had another 3-1/2 years with him in good health. He actually developed another problem before I first saw her, and she wasn’t sure she could help him. But she did! I am so grateful. She really is the best. I have sent so many people to her who have had great results. The person who posted about her fee - a friend upstate just dropped $10,000 on a dog she purchased on the Internet 8 years ago - puppy mill of course - And the dog had surgery, developed seizures and died. Marcie’s fees are reasonable - the remedies are so much cheaper than medications, and she has treated animals without surgery whose owners were told surgeries would cost thousands of dollars.Adopt don’t shop.
May 09, 2023 · Maria CiacciaI first starting working with Dr. Fallek over 15 years ago while she supported my aging kitty through severe dental problems. He had been through surgery to remove 17 teeth, and was facing the prospect of losing his remaining teeth. I was concerned about putting him through another risky surgery and consulted with Dr. Fallek on options. Over the next four years she was an incredible source of knowledge and a trusted resource --- she was thoughtful, compassionate and most importantly provided homeopathic remedies that tremendously improved my beloved kitty’s quality of life. I am convinced that she gave us extra years together than we would not have had with conventional veterinary practices.I started seeing Dr. Fallek again recently to help my current cat through recurring and worsening tremors that have severely eroded his mobility and were clearly very painful. Dr. Fallek again listened to my concerns, took a holistic view of my kittty’s health including both the immediate concerns as well as understanding any other underlying conditions, and recommended a remedy tailored to his specific problems. She was thoughtful in her approach and had his best interests at the forefront of all recommendations. Within days of providing the remedy, my kitty improved tremendously. The tremors significantly decreased, he clearly felt better, other concerns with his health that I had previously dismissed (eye gunk, itchy ears) improved, and he was back to being his goofy self!Admittedly Dr. Fallek’s approach is unconventional for those used to only seeing traditional veterinary practices who will push anti-biotics, pain killers and other western medicine solutions. However, in my 25 years of being a cat mom I can say with confidence that no one has ever taken as good care and showed as much compassion towards my cats as Dr. Fallek. To partner with Dr. Fallek requires commitment to your pets health, and while her services are more expensive than traditional vets, her expertise, attention and in my case incredible results in two very difficult situatoins are worth it to be able to share more years with my beloved kitties. I am extremely grateful to have found Dr. Fallek and recommend her without reservation to anyone who is dedicated to their pet’s entire mental and physical well being.
Jul 20, 2020 · Jessica BolinDr.Fallek has gone above and beyond taking care of my Weimaraner Smokey 15 years ago when he had a back injury. The conventional vet wanted to perform surgery. Dr. Fallek used acupuncture and wholistic remedies and within 10 sessions was cured. This year my other Weimaraner Treynor sustained a back injury and once again acupuncture is healing him. He barely could stand or walk and was in so much discomfort. But Dr.Fallek has helped him walk again. I trust her because she truly works at healing pets. Highly recommend her.
