- Cat-Exclusive Environment: This is arguably their most significant highlight. By focusing solely on cats, the clinic eliminates the stress often associated with dogs in a general vet office, creating a quieter, calmer, and less intimidating atmosphere. This specialized environment is crucial for many cats, especially those prone to anxiety.
- Gentle and Skilled Handling: Customers consistently praise the staff's exceptional ability to handle cats with care and expertise. One reviewer shared a powerful testimonial: "I love my cat more than anything, but she doesn't like being handled by anyone but me. Most veterinarians tell me to stay away from her during appointments so 'I don't get hurt.' They either muzzle her or straight up refuse to examine her. I've had cats my entire life, and I've never met a veterinarian as skilled and comfortable with them. Thank you Feline Hospital for being so gentle and thorough with my cat." This speaks volumes about their unique skill set in managing even the most difficult-to-handle felines without resorting to stressful restraint methods.
- Compassionate and Loving Staff: Reviews consistently highlight the team's genuine love for animals. "The doctors are knowledgeable, loving, and thorough. The staff are likewise kind, responsive, and clearly love animals as well." This compassion extends to both the patients and their human companions.
- Attentive Level of Care: Customers report an unparalleled level of attentiveness. "The Feline Hospital provides the most attentive level of care I have ever encountered, cat or human." This indicates a deep commitment to understanding and addressing every aspect of a cat's health and comfort.
- Thoughtful Touches for Comfort: The office is designed with the cat's comfort in mind, including "warm blankets to sit on for sick visits." These small but significant details contribute to a less stressful and more positive experience for the feline patients.
- Knowledgeable and Thorough Doctors: The veterinarians are not only loving but also highly knowledgeable and thorough in their examinations and diagnoses, ensuring that no detail is overlooked in providing the best possible care.
- Worth the Wait: While new patients "may experience a wait," clients emphatically state that it is "well worth it to have this level of care." This indicates that the quality of service far outweighs any minor inconvenience, reinforcing their reputation for excellence.

Jun 13, 2025 · MarcusThe Feline Hospital provides the most attentive level of care I have ever encountered, cat or human. The doctors are knowledgeable, loving, and thorough. The staff are likewise kind, responsive, and clearly love animals as well. Dec 23, 2024 · LissetteI am continually amazed by how thorough, caring and knowledgeable Dr. Ternes is. I am confident that she truly cares about my cats as much as I do & I always leave the office satisfied knowing that my cats are in the best hands on the North Shore. Her team of admin, nurses and techs reflect how hard working and attentive she is. The staff is always accommodating & I love that they always follow up via text and/or email. I highly, highly recommend this office for any cat parent - they are certainly worth the (short) wait.
Dec 31, 2024 · Kelsey BergquistGetting put on the waiting list to be a client was simple. The wait was a few months, not as long as we thought- keep in mind it is a 2 Dr. privately owned facility, which we prefer as the care and treatment is more personable. Scheduling was quick and they send friendly reminders before your appointment. When you first walk in to the office, you get a very warm and welcoming atmosphere for both yourself and fur babies. Checking in was easy and the receptionist was very friendly. The waiting area was relaxing and they had many ways to help calm your baby before seeing the vet - we didn’t have to wait long at all before being brought back to the exam room. Dr. Lewis walked in and was so great! She was wonderful, loving and really cared for my kiddos. Dr. Lewis allowed the babies to get comfortable with her and the environment before jumping into the exam. Dr. Lewis and staff handled both babies with care. Im happy to have Feline Hospital and Dr. Lewis as our fur babies Vet. Highly recommended and well worth the wait.
Dec 12, 2024 · Eric Hammermeister-KahnA professional clean safe environment for your cat. The Vets are excellent and also very caring towards your pet. Very nice staff and a cozy welcoming building. They are top notch. We have brought four different cats there over the last 27 years. Always a great experience in all areas. This is a cats only vet so if you have cat that is skittish around other animals it will be especially good for them. 😺
