Four Legs Animal Hospital

1329 W Central Ave, Davidsonville, MD 21035, USA

4.0
I went to Four Legs for six years with my dog and two cats before I had enough. They used to be great, but went severely downhill in quality and accuracy about 1.5-2 years ago (though I’d heard complaints from family and friends long before that). There have been scheduling issues, issues with not conveying costs that had doubled before appointments, and the manager is prone to gaslighting - she has never taken responsibility for the clinic’s mistakes.I primarily saw Dr. Diaz but occasionally saw a few of the other veterinarians. They were phenomenal and I was sad to leave them, but the office management care was too dreadful and caused me to cry on at least two occasions. Dr. Diaz would help cherry pick and tests I needed because my finances were so tight and she was compassionate.About nine months ago, I switched to a different practice and have no longer faced the concerning issues, and have also had a few really great vets (though I’ve only seen them each once so can’t speak to consistency). I am relieved to be done with the drama Four Legs brought to my life. And I’m certainly glad to be dealing with a new office manager. The front office staff at Four Legs made some of the mistakes but were usually very nice. Prices are comparable with other nearby vets for routine visits, more so for anything else. It’s more cost effective to pay for daycare and add on a nail trim for than to go to Four Legs just for a nail trim - and that’s for a calm dog (they cause extra if they’re not calm).Proceed with caution. - Sam Ritts
