Fredon Animal Hospital Reviews
Our vet that we had been going to for years couldn’t fit us in for an emergency visit but even with us being new you guys took us right in and we will forever be grateful for that. The staff is wonderful and very nice. Will highly recommend this office
Jun 05, 2025 · Ashley DWe've used this vet for various reasons for years (spay/neuter, injuries, check ups, and end of life procedures). We've dealt with several different vets here & have found every one of them to be professional and compassionate. The vets here have always treated our animals with the same love and care that I imagine they treat their own pets with. They've also accommodated us on short notice for emergencies quite a few times (and, without the rip off prices that certainly nearby emergency vets charge).Would absolutely 100% recommend Fredon Animal Hospital!
Feb 03, 2025 · Donna LimmertDefinitely recommend you bringing your loved one here for great care. Unfortunately We had to put down a stray, black cat Sad but relieved he is no longer suffering he was having seizures through the night but the kindness And professional staff It made it a bit easier After the experience, I had through all night trying to get help for this suffering cat All I can say is do not go to Newton veterinary hospital nasty cold hearted stuff. Too bad Sussex County doesn’t have a caring emergency veterinary hospital for after hours. Thank you again, Fredon animal Hospital The only place to go when you want great care for your pet I always pray that nothing ever happens during the night
May 06, 2025 · Mariann ArencibiaI have been going to this place for over 15 years. I love the way the vets and staff take care of my animals! I just recently brought a urine sample early in the morning, like they instructed me to do. I was greeted by the most rude and unprofessional person I’ve ever dealt with. Come to find out it was Dr.Grau’s sister. The only reason why I didn’t give her a piece of my mind was because I love everything else about the place. Later that day I went back to pick up the medicine for the infection my dog had. I asked a staff member who that was in the morning. I was informed who it was and that these types of interactions happen frequently with Dr. Grau’s sister. I am writing this in hope that Dr. Grau sees this and investigates this frequent rude and unprofessional behavior. I understand family is family but this interaction could have potentially made them lose a customer. I will continue to come back for the great care that they provide for my animals.
May 08, 2025 · William PregnoI had to put my first fur baby down a few years ago. He had unfortunately experienced a brutal mauling by my neighbors 2 vicious dogs and almost died. He went to an "emergency vet in the area" due to the time of day when this happened but never fully recovered. After a few months his injuries got worse to the point where his leg one morning fully gave out. It was early- Fredon Animal Hospital had barely opened. I called crying explaining the situation and they took us right away. We unfortunately had to put him down that morning and they were extremely caring and courteous in a situation where we really needed that. We also have a few cats. One of our cats one day became very quickly extremely ill. Again we had to rush him to the "emergency vet in the area" due to the time of day. Turns out he had a complete blockage and could not use the bathroom and was minutes from dying. They wanted to charge us $5000 and wouldn't save his life until we agreed. Somehow I talked them down to getting him to a point where he was stable for $1000 and then transferred to Fredon Animal Hospital where he would finish his care the next morning. There he was not just a dollar amount. They truly saved his life and cared for him and helped us nurse him back to health. It was much less expensive than what the emergency vet wanted. I couldn't be happier with Fredon Animal Hospital for always helping us care for our pets for an affordable price without lacking the attention and care you would want for your fur family!
