Friendly Animal Clinic Reviews
I brought our rescue dog, Violet here for an urgent situation. I was able to book online for a same day visit. Everyone was very kind and accommodating. Dr. Heinze explained everything very well and took a conservative approach to treating her which I appreciated. I felt the prices were reasonable for a same day visit. We are new to the area and we plan to use this place as our regular vet.TIP You will need to have your dog vaccinated for rabies prior to visit or they will do it there (because of local laws). Thankfully ours was not expired because it would have been hard to do it there with our pup being in pain. I suggest getting rabies vac if yours is expired, so if anything happens you have more options of where to take your pet.
Mar 23, 2025 · Pamela MasonI am returning to FAC after living in Colorado the last few years- they were even better than I remember. My family has been going to them for my entire life (I am 30 now) and it’s always been nothing but pleasant and great care. It was my dog Monster’s first appointment with them and in a new city, he is a senior rescue with severe fear aggression who needed an exam and a blood test. We saw Dr Steins and her patience with him in addition to her obvious experience working with fear aggressive dogs was really helpful and appreciated beyond words. We were able to get everything done and get a better protocol in line for his anxiety come next visit. Any anxieties I had going in were quickly eased, and I think Monster’s were, too! Dr and Monster both did an awesome job. I highly recommend and will be visiting again with my other old angel dog for her senior checkup next week.
Feb 12, 2025 · Paisley SellickWe took our two dogs here as the reviews were fairly positive and we were looking for a good vet for our senior dachshund and younger mixed breed. We came in for the introductory special and ended up leaving with a $700 bill. When my husband and I reviewed the bill, we saw that they were charging $60 each for two pill bottles to put the dog's poop in (but it has a convenient scoop! Are you kidding?). We had to take our senior guy to urgent care recently and had the vet send over his records. For $700, they didn't even take blood work. The urgent care bill that included x-rays, blood work, medication, and the exam was the same price as 2 vaccinations and a wellness exam (that was supposed to be $35 introductory special). I'm very disappointed with the service we received from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. We got the $120 back for the plastic bottles, by the way after we complained about the ridiculous price.
Jul 03, 2025 · Casey StarkHuge shoutout to this wonderful place for caring for our little guy Trippy! They were very caring and so detailed with everything! May 14, 2025 · Belante ScottExcellent friendly staff, very thorough and happy to answer questions. Also though it is a business, unlike most vets I've been to their first concern was helping not demanding cash before giving one single damn about my pets needs. I saw how they interacted with other patients and not once did I get even a hint of that let's push them through the revolving door and get paid vibe. Highly recommend them, also was very clean and organized.
