Gailor Animal Hospital Reviews
This hospital! What can I say you all are amazing. So very Compassionate, caring, loving, professional. Yesterday we had to lay our Tucker down for his final rest. Dr. Renick, Dr. Gailor and Dr. Roberts have all been there for my Puppy boy. This is the best place by far. We have taken all of our animals here and will not go anywhere else. Thank you all for the amazing care you provide!! This was Tucker when he was ill he loved to sit and lay in their pews!
Feb 18, 2025 · Janie GillespieI’ve had nothing but great experiences with this practice. They’ve taken care of three of my dogs over the last five years. This has included routine care, along with a complicated antibiotic-resistant UTI, a cancerous growth, a vicious GI virus, and a hernia repair. Every encounter has been compassionate and caring with timely updates. Veterinary care is expensive (in my opinion) everywhere and Gailor is no different in this respect. For the care received, it’s worth it to me.
Jun 03, 2025 · TeralynnAlways extremely nice people, Ripley has always been comfortable with everyone there. He has been going since a puppy and will always go to Gailor. Ripley is not the only pet that we have taken to Gailor. We have been clients for several years.
Dec 09, 2024 · Jack GordonI want to take my fur babies back over here. But I have a gut feeling it gonna be super expensive. I might have to go to a different vet, for better pricing. Good people. Just so expensive.
Jun 29, 2025 · Megan MeridethPSA TO FEMALE CAT OWNERS:My cat had pyometra. I had no idea and I looked up symptoms in the middle of the night (of course I was alarmed finding out what it could’ve been) and her uterus was oozing puss at that point. I called Jefferson animal hospital that night and they said it would likely cost me $2500 or I’d have to put her down. I took my chances at Gailor animal hospital the next morning. Normally, they do not accept walk ins but I explained her symptoms and my concerns to the reception desk and they took her back right away. They confirmed she had this condition, performed surgery and kept her for 2 days and it was only $800 out of pocket as opposed to what the animal hospital was going to charge me. It was a VERY risky decision and down to the last minute bc her uterus burst on the operating table and flooded her abdomen with infection, which luckily they were able to flush out.She is my first cat and I had no idea until it happened to me. She was about 3.5 years when it happened, and I had so much guilt not knowing anything about this risk. She’s happy and healthy now, but if I could I would go back and just go through spaying her for the couple hundred dollars instead of putting it off, thinking there was no danger since she’s a solo indoor cat.Other signs I seen personally were:Blood leaking (a lot of spotting, not like in heat)Oozing puss (very late and serious symptom)Constant licking of her genital areaLethargicWould not eatRemoved from me/playing/other humans and animalsHidingWeaker and less agile (balance was off, didn’t jump around as much)I LOVE Gailor Animal Hospital but moved 2 hours away last year. Their staff is so friendly and they really listen to their clients concerns instead of making you feel like you’re over reacting. Couldn’t recommend them more.
